We've gotten word from TokBox (the folks who power our built-in video and voice messaging) that they are retiring support for Flash-based clients. At this point the vast majority of our users are using the new WebRTC-based platform, but we continued to support the (deprecated) Flash platform for as long as we could. You are using the Flash-based client if you have selected "Flash" under your "Video and Voice Tech" settings inside your game. If you have issues using WebRTC for some reason we're here to help. At this point it is very widely supported among all browsers and operating systems that Roll20 supports, so there shouldn't be any issues transitioning for anyone still using the Flash-based client. In addition, it uses less bandwidth, less CPU and memory, provides higher-definition video and voice, etc. When TokBox drops their support officially (probably Tuesday or Wednesday), any existing campaigns using the Flash library will transition automatically to WebRTC. We do apologize for the late notice on this, and again if you have any questions feel free to let us know.
