I saw some questions about Zeniri clones -- mating, intercourse and maybe some other odd stuff. Interesting topics of inbreeding, incest etc. Well some notes on them as clones -- A Zeniri is born (usually) from a clone vat or cloning facility. Where they are grown and emerge fully grown and at a adult to young adult mentality and personality. They will be unique in personality and as a individual thinking organism. However they will be physically identical and genetically identical to hundreds or thousands of other clones born and created from the same facility. Zeniri Cloning Facilities -- A Zeniri tribe or clan may operate a Cloning Facility of any size. Some facilities are massive, while others may be tiny and some others may only contain a few still functioning cloning pods. These facilities are thousands of cycles old. Some barely function, kept running and operating by dedicated clan leaders or tribe leaders. The destruction or shut down of a Zeniri Cloning facility represents the possible end of a clan or tribe. Because of this many Zeniri Cloning facilities are hidden deep in a clans territory, or underground, or kept secured an secret. Some are very public and grind out Zeniri clone after Zeniri clone daily, like a spacers brothel. Every Clone Facility operates off of a set of Original ancient Clone Matrix Templates - But what the Facility or the Zeniri cannot make are New Original Clone Matrix Templates - that technology is beyond ancient and lost to the darkness of the void. A copy of New Clone Matrix can be made from an Original Clone Matrix Template, but it is only a copy. A copy matrix template is a downgraded copy of the Original Matrix. This is how Zeniri of different, lower, or weaker Clone Generations are created. Each time a Template Matrix is copied or duplicated, it lowers the Generation of Zeniri that are born from the Cloning Facility. Zeniri born or created from a single Original Clone Matrix Template are the following -- --Physically identical to all other clones made from the template. --Genetically identical to all other clones made from the template. --Have a uniqute set of skills or abilities --Skill sets or Trade sets can be unique or specially programmed into a template. Clones can be identified as workers, warriors, elite, leaders, mechanics, and any array of skills or archetypes from the Verse. --Unique Personality --Personality generated is random, and unique. This is not part of the Clone Matrix, where this individuality comes from is unknown by Zeniri scientists. Zeniri born or created from a single Original Clone Matrix Template are considered to have the following abilities or traits -- -- All are considered to be of the same Clan or Tribe or Family --Clone Generation decides hierarchy or status order - All Zeniri naturally or automatically know if another Zeniri's Generation is lower or higher than their own upon personal contact with another Zeniri. -- All Zeniri of the same clan or template family naturally and automatically know who is who, and can identify each other as unique individuals. They can do this no matter how similar in appearance or genetic makeup one family member is from another. Many Zeniri do not change their physical appearance or looks within a clan because of this. While other Zeniri clans can have a wide variety of unique hairstyles, appearances, tattoos or other personal identifying marks or characteristics. Note - these marks are usually cosmetic or other. Unique hair cut, dyed hair, tattoo etc. All are still physically identical and genetically identical clone copies of each other made from the same Clone Matrix Template. -- Zeniri of different clan or template families can identify another template clan, but not identify unique individuals within a clan. Not without some other identifying marks or unique personal appearances. Zeniri of differnt clans still naturally or automatically know the Generation of another non-family Zeniri. -- Zeniri can have sexual intercourse with each other or various other Factions, however they are sterile synthetic organisms that can only reproduce via being manufactured and created from a Cloning Facility. Zeniri family or morals and ethics -- --Zeniri from a single Cloning Facility consider each other family or family clan members. --Zeniri from a single Clone Matrix Template consider each other genetic sisters or brothers. --Zeniri from multiple Clone Templates that are derived from a higher generation Clone Template consider each other genetic cousins. --Zeniri from a wide range of templates derived from Original Clone Matrix Template consider each other distant genetic clan cousins. --Zeniri of the same Clan or Family and of a higher Generation of over 3 levels are a -- Ancient sister - or Ancient brother - or Ancient genetic sibling --Zeniri of the same Clan or Family and of a higher Generation of 1-2 levels are a -- clan Elder sister or clan Elder brother or Elder genetic clan sibling --Zeniri of the same Clan or Family and of equal Generation consider each other -- a clan sister or a clan brother - or genetic clan sibling. --Zeniri of the same Clan or Family and of are lower Generation of 1 level are a -- Younger sister or Younger brother - or younger genetic sibling. --Zeniri of the same Clan or Family and of a lower Generation greater than 2-3 are a -- distant clan sibling or distant younger clan sibling. -- Zeniri as a Faction also have unique ranks and terms for each other an also other Faction members- see game book Faction details -- Zeniri ethics and morals- as a synthetic and hyper advanced species the Zeniri have no moral standards. They do as they please, and follow both good and evil paths in the Verse. Many Clan and family members war and prey up themselves nearly as much as they do with other clans. Clan or family members are sisters or brothers in name, as all are unique and single thinking individuals. A Zeniri sees Clan or Family as where they originated from, not so much in the sense of mother, father, sister, sibling like other blood related and sired kin of the other Factions. There are entire clans based off of a single Clone Matrix, or from a single Clone facility pod. Living on isolated stations and moons far into the verse with no outer contact with other Zeniri clans or families. These isolated groups, and well as Zeniri in general, they live, breed, pair, and interact as individuals, same family or inter clan pairing, mating or intercourse within a clan or family holds no such morals or standards like it does within the other biological bred organisms of the Verse, because it does not hold meaning to the Zeniri culture. Within Zeniri culture there is only 3 ethical or moral Faction racial standards or offenses to the race. 1st and greatest forbidden offense - Destroying or allowing the destruction of a Zeniri Cloning Facility. Cloning Facility technology is a lost an ancient knowledge. Zeniri can repair and duplicate a Cloning Facility but the technology to make a new and original facility is currently a ancient lost technology. Destroying or allowing a Facility to be destroyed is the greatest offense that can be made among the Zeniri. The destruction or act of destroying Cloning Facilities will end the Zeniri race. 2nd forbidden offense - Destroying a Original Clone Matrix Template - Destroying a Clone Matrix is unforgivable - it is on par with Faction genocide. Like Cloning Facility tech. Making a Original Clone Matrix is a lost ancient technology. Destroying or allowing one to be destroyed is an act of genocide against ones Faction race. And is unforgivable. 3rd highly forbidden or highly frowned upon offense - Breeding - non Original Clone Template reproduction. The only time Zeniri breeding is frowned upon is when 2 Zeniri wish to sire a clone offspring without using a Original Clone Template - but instead create a new template based of off one or both the parent Zeniri's genetic makeup. The new Zeniri clone still is created, manufactured and is born from a Cloning Facilty. But this nearly always creates a Zeniri of a lower Generation with an additional further degradation of skills, traits and physical abilities. The sired offspring's clone template is usually broken an incomplete, and the sired Zeniri's template cannot be used to create or duplicate another like itself. It is a single use, template. It also represents the end of the line for that clans template, as no further clones or template copies can be made from the new sired offspring. This method of reproduction is frowned upon, and in some clans forbidden. The bonus to this method of reproduction means, that the new sired clone is a completely unique and original clone. Similar clan members may exist, but the new clone is weak and they are considered little more than trash, and discarded. A clone of Generation zero or less than one, sired in this manner is hardly indiscernible than a Terran or human, and will seldom survive very long in the Verse. They have no place in Zeniri culture or hierarchy. It is considered a great crime to breed or clone Zeniri in this manner from parents of Generation 1 level rating. Those doing such are typically hunted down, and the offspring exterminated.
