2 players looking to play adventurers league-legal D&D 5e GMT+1

Hey, My Wife and I have been looking to play adventurers league-legal games here on roll20 so we can learn the rules. We would prefer to play Lost mines of Phandelver, as we are both New to D&D 5e (and we heard it is good for beginners), but any official adventure for first level characters would be appriciated. We are working on a Female, elven ranger for My Wife, and a Malé elven Wizard for me. We live in the GMT+1 timezone (Sweden) and best days to play (for us) would be mondays, wednesday and sundays. We both have Skype and Google hangouts. I am also interested in playing other AL-legal games myself with another character to learn the rules so I can start DMing adventurers league. Hi, I'm looking to join or start a newbie game with likewise people. Except I've never played before! Was thinking of a group to work D&D 5e out together? I'm wanting to learn the game so I can start playing with my wife and kids but don't have anything to show them yet other than youtube vids which seem hard to follow? That is a great idea lain. would you like to try DMing for us or would you like to continue searching for a DM together? :) what timezone/country are you in?

I could try being the DM, sure. It would be a long drawn out experience I fear but would be very funny getting to grips with it between us. I have the Lost mines of Phandelver starter set and dying to run through it. I'm from the UK so we are not far apart timewise =)

Sure Lain. Wife and I are just happy if we can play some adventurers league games :) it seems Lain here Will be our DM, so I guess it depends on what days and time he would be available :)

Haha its Iain as in iain =D Not the first time ive seen it typed like that though. Evenings from 9pm GMT UK midweek and weekends well, whatever suits the group. I will make a start building the encounter maps tomorow night and try get my DM on. Could try the first encounter saturday night if everyones free. As an ice breaker. Please note I have never played PC never mind DM so it will be a very bumpy ride! But the point of the grouping is to work it out together. So please flag if things seem wrong or not the rules. Should be good fun. If it works out well we could replay the mines with better knowledge of the rules afterwards. But I'm just throwing ideas out there if it's a success.

Had a PM from an experienced DM who is happy to run our adventure for us. More info when I have more info! =p

Ah, Sorry Iain, and here I thought Lain was a really cool name and all. I Will have a hard time this saturday as I workshops nightshift from about 20:00 GMT +1 however, I dont think anyone would mind a bumpy road, we all have to start somewhere :) most are just happy someone is willing to DM for them I think.

Fire Starter Supporter Hello, I saw your/Tengu's post about Lost Mine and running it with beginners and I figured I'd offer to DM for you all if you want. I ran it recently with others so I have all the maps and everything setup. Up to you though, if you want to DM it yourself or not. I just figured I'd offer. Let me know.

Player tbh. So I can check out how a DM operates. No he's in EST, like 5-6 hours behind.

Hello, I would like to join in if you are looking for an extra player. I have played DnD 5e once before but I would like to try with a different character. I would hope to play with a Human Cleric but would take any character that the group would prefer. I am in the UK and would be able to play today. I also have a headset for communication.
