DM looking for players, D&D4e "Crimson Eclipse", Wednesday Evenings GMT, Newbies welcome.

Crimson Eclipse is a campaign i'm starting due to a distinct lack of sufficient DMs to keep the sheer volume of players busy. I live in GMT zone, and am often busy on weekends, hence the midweek evening timeslot. I can't guarantee I will always be available, but will try. I have never DMed before, but I might as well give it a bash. I will be using D&D4ed as I have copies of all the books, and frankly don't want to pay for 5ed (if you enjoy the campaign and want me to DM a 5e game, you can always gift me the material *hint hint* :P Metagaming will be frowned upon. If you have a low wisdom i.e., I do expect other players to sigh at you yelling "I Charge In!" to a situation where you're clearly outmatched. I of course will allow rerolls of characters once death is inevitable. A good sense of humor is strongly encouraged. Your first three games will be probationary in a nature, so I can weed out whiney bores etc.. No point having a campaign which is ruined by one or two players. So applications are now open, post your character backstory and I will decide. (Abillity scores will be based on the sum of the best of 3 of a 4D6 roll after invite). On my part, I will listen to all advice given that is constructive in nature, and take what I can onboard to be a better DM so long as it doesn't completely invert my style of DMing completely. 5/6 player slots filled. 3 sessions already done, however one of the players is no longer available to play.
Hey sounds interesting. Perfect for my time slots too. What do you mean "whiny bore" exactly? Does that exclude new players? I ask because I have only played one campaign before and wouldn't want to come off as a bore due to my in-experience. As for the backstory can we PM you it? or post it here?
interesting is 10;30pm EST to late to start ??
Does sound interesting, both in time and system; I've only had one game of 4E, and would like to learn more, and being GMT+1 timezone I should be able to fit in. As for character, I can only provide a concept of a "semi-humorous" Warforged Invoker of the "Machine-God", but this depends of the available choices for race and class. If this turns out to be inappropriate, I'd resort to something more "common". Though, to make a proper backstory, may we inquire a bit of the world and background?
Ken R > Whiny bore, would be a playstyle whereby a PC continuously complains and exudes negativity. I will do my best to be fair, so complaints in private will be addressed. Being new to the game is a non-issue, of course it will take longer to settle and learn the ropes. Feel free to PM me regarding the character. Treize> That would be 3.30 am in GMT? if so, far too late with my hours, unless I can get by without sleep once a week.
Animusu> Will chat in private with you :)
Update: Only 1 slot remains unfilled.
Do you need the slot filled still?
What sort of campaign is this going to be?
I'm a very new player,i haven't even made it into my first game yet. If you could tell me what I would need to do, I would love to join in this game.

I'm afraid the game is currently full. If slots open I shall let you all know. Thank you so much for your interest!
A slot has opened up. Next game this Wednesday, around 6pm GMT.
Hey, I'm interested in joining a 4e game. I do have a few questions, though. What character classes do you have already? Are there any weak spots in the team? Any houserules I need to be aware of? And what's the general tone of the game? (a grim fantasy setting where corruption seeps through the Grand City requires a different type of character than one where "I butter the pixie" is a good combat maneuver)
We have half-orc fighter, a dragonborn wizard, a half elven avenger, a drow rogue, and a shifter bard. Grim fantasy is probably more accurate than a quest to find the ginger bread house, though an orphanage may have that name where the children are used as slave labour, dark ritual material, organ harvesting etc :P
I'll fiddle around and see if I can put maybe a defender|leader hybrid together. I'm PillagePuppies (look for Gharbad!) on Skype, if you want to chat, or Gorebled on Steam.
Oh crap, I misread the time. I have to leave for work on Wednesdays at 2:30PM, and the game starts at 12:30PM. Any chance you can move it to Fridays? Otherwise, I may have to leave before the thing is over, and that just wouldn't do.
