A common craftsmanship Capacitor Mesh can effectively block any Haywire field of Minor Disruption or less, however it will be damaged by exposure to a field of Major Disruption strength, essentially blocking the effects of the Major Disruption field for a single round before becoming damaged. A good craftsmanship Capacitor Mesh can effectively block any Haywire field of Minor Disruption or less, however it will be damaged by exposure to a field of Major Disruption strength, essentially blocking the effects of the Major Disruption field for two rounds but becoming damaged by exposure. A best craftsmanship Capacitor Mesh can can effectively block any Haywire field of Major Disruption strength or less. Called Shots by Las, Melta, and Plasma weapons directed at the Capacitor Mesh can also damage the Mesh without necessarily injuring the wearer since the Mesh is layered on top of the armor plating so the AP value of the armor doesn't protect the Mesh.
