[D&D 5th Edition] Damage roll from character sheet isn't working.

Hello, I'm only posting this because I was unable to find an answer via searching for character sheet issues. I can get all my other rolls to work out fine but whenever I roll damage it rolls double the dice and adds them together instead of using one dice + modifier. I've tried remaking a new character and it still happens. I understand how the character sheet rolls 2 d20s and takes the highest for advantage but this shouldn't be happening for damage. I also don't think this is happening because it seems to be adding the dice together instead of giving me result + modifier. Here is a screen shot on my character sheet: http://i.imgur.com/7fdj5yD.png Whenever I hit the damage button it rolls 2d6 instead of 1d6 and it isn't adding the modifier correctly.

Have you put anything into the Bonuses / Penalties section on the first page?
Yes. I didn't manually enter anything though it's all derived information from the stats. http://i.imgur.com/jKAMjEZ.png

Can you post what the chat output is for using the damage roll of the Short Sword entry you took a screenshot of before? I suspect you are using 3d-dice and getting confused by the additional damage roll thats done to cover the additional damage done when an attack is a critical hit The damage you have set for the shortsword is 1d6 so when you click the damage button the sheet should roll 2d6. One for the normal damage, and a 2econd one that you can manually add to your overall damage done from that attack if the attack was a critical hit. Right now this would be displayed in the chat as - For XX slashing damage (if a crit add an extra YY) In your example, XX would be 1d6+3, and YY would be 1d6...this would be wy you would see damage rolls done twice. This is more prominent, just like the advantage/disadvantage extra roll, when you use the 3d dice feature but the output in chat should always be accurate.
Ooooh, that makes sense. That is actually the problem. I didn't understand what was going on but yeah I just rolled a bunch and it looks like it's for crit damage. That answers my question. Thanks!
