LF Players to play WH40k with.

Just seeing if anyone wants to play some 40k (the game) with me in the near future, i have a fully functioning board and am part of the roll20 warhammer community, just seeing if there is any new blood out there. You can pm me here, post here, or add me on skype (Undeadriseing).

I might be interested in getting some boyz in shiny red trucks...been forever since I played tabletop, and been wanting to try it on Roll20.

What edition? I only have the Codexes up to 5th. I bought Assault on Black Reach a few years ago, but I live in a rural area and I've never been able to find people to play with.

I belive 5th edition and the newest adition also (sorry if i got editions mixed up bit new myself :p)

We could also run older editions if anyone wants to learn those rules.

So long as the editions are close any's probably fine. Most of the games have been 7th edition for awhile but i wouldn't mind trying older ones.

Usually we run 7th edition, but it doesn't matter too much either way. Once again if interested add me on skype, i'll add you to the group conversation and make you a gm on the table/explain how we set it up.

just to annoy undead im posting this we also use vassel from time to time

Heck, I don't even know what edition my last Codex is...do you do both 40k and Fantasy? Might like to get my necromancer on as well as roar across the field with some boyz and lots of dakka!

dont think we do fantasy anymore but sure some of the guys would be willing to play it with you :p

not at all to my knowledge we have guys playing at any point during the day :p just add undead and hell get your sorted.

I only played the dark heresy campaign, only at third mission. Is there other information that I might need to research about? and when do you guys usually play and skype?

im unsure what you mean? we play the warhammer 40k tabletop as in you control an army yes though a lot of them also play the 40k RPG`s also.

Warhammer 40k refers to the small unit tactical war game. Epic used to be the large scale war game, but I don't know if that's what it is still called or not.

Hmm...side note, anyone have rules for Bloodbowl? I know football season just ended, but that could be a laugh...and boy do I miss Man 'O War and my dwarven ironsides...

Squads of Blood Angel Space Marines backed by heavy weapons maneuvering around a mass of Tyranids, that sort of thing. You can probably find Dark Heresy games in the LFG sections though.

Sorry for the confusion ^^ still if anyones looking for the 40k tactial game give us a shout were always open :p

never played tactical 40k before, but would be interested in learning. very familiar with the universe and have played RPG 40k. also read most of the codex at 4e (i think) since my friend owned them all. honestly, i've just never been willing to throw down on miniatures I really don't have the skill to paint. new to roll20 but plenty of experience in general tabletop gaming. i've played a huge amount of battletech (board game not mechwarrior) so imagine I could pick it up fairly quickly. I'll also buy codex as i need them. edit: i'll take suggestions on 'new player' races but would likely play Space Wolves once i'm settled on the overall game at least. though once i've got enough background i'd really be willing to play any kind of army someone wanted to face.

I'd be interested in join and know a few people that might as well. I've never played the TT game but funny enough have played and read a lot of other Warhammer and 40k stuff and paint miniatures. If you don't mind some newbies to the rules would be fun to play.
