Hi Everyone, We pushed out an update this morning focusing on Looking for Group (LFG) functionality. We've been listening to your feedback on what was and wasn't working with LFG and here's what we've changed. No more low hanging fruit. We've removed listings that have found the number of players they needed. This means full games will no longer be listed or can be listed. Also, games that were scheduled out very far in the future have also been removed and you can only list LFGs for games planned in the next three months. We've added new criteria for LFG listings to help fine tune the game experience you're trying to advertise and allow players to connect to GMs that are right for them. The new criteria are: Audio Visual options for Text Only, Voice only, or Video and Voice games. Mature Content flag for 18+ only games. Game Type options including, RPGs, Card Games, and Board Games. There is a New Game ribbon that lasts for a set peroid of time on freshly listed campaigns. We've reformatted the look of the LFG listings to make it easier to scan the details of different listings. You can now sort by upcoming games that will list games from soonest to latest, in case you're looking for a PUG (pick up game) option. The other change we've been working on is tweaking the In-App Marketplace search for premium assets. Now we're doing a better job of showing you the most relevant items to your search and expanding your ability to browse the marketplace from inside the app if you so choose. Let us know what you think of these changes and happy rolling. - Steve K.

Liking the choices. Small issue, I just searched for "Pathfinder" and the only advanced option I tried toggling Audio/Visual doesn't seem to work correctly. If I leave it set to "Any" I get all results as expected. I can see in the results a couple "Voice" and "Text" only games, but if I try the search again with "Voice Only" or "Text Only" I get zero results.
Thank you for listening Dev team! Already liking the changes!

This all seems very smartly, neatly done. It looks good and seems to accommodate everyone (e.g. diverse types of campaigns / games / groups / searches). The "Frequency" drop-down still feels limiting with only Weekly, Monthly, or one-time-game as options. (What about twice a week ? What about variable schedule games?). I suppose that would be a Suggestions post.
I have to say, these are some dynamite changes to the LFG function. All of these were badly needed. You guys really deserve a pat on the back for this one. *Big thumbs up!*
Hello, can we please get a filter option to not show "group looking for GM, no room for more players" games?

Being able to filter out groups looking for a GM would be nice. I was really startled when I realized players are doing this ; I must be really old school, given how much this initially bothered me. (Doesn't anymore, but I still think it is kinda weird)

Probably that would be a suggestion that would get a lot of votes. (hint, hint! =D) I know exactly what you mean, GenKitty! That was my reaction as well, but it's really no different than putting up a flyer at your local gaming store looking for a GM (which also sounds weird to me, but more plausible. =D)

(Doesn't anymore, but I still think it is kinda weird) i did it myself once (and never will i do it again), only because at that time i was DMing 2 dif homebrew campaigns, and had no experience with pregen commercial adventures in D&D 5e. We asked LFG for a DM, found one, and it lasted a few months before the end of year holidays tanked it, but i got enough experience watching his style that i feel comfortable running a 5e pregen, in fact i am tying The sunless Citadel from 3e into my 5e homebrew soon after my players cross the Sea of Fallen Stars. ( still my most fav AP from my youth, cant wait for the goblins hiding behind table tops as cover to start sniping players.... bonus acton hide/disengage WUT? baby dragon WUT? Vampire at this level WUT?)... The Aaron said: Probably that would be a suggestion that would get a lot of votes. (hint, hint! =D) (2*) I know exactly what you mean, GenKitty! That was my reaction as well, but it's really no different than putting up a flyer at your local gaming store looking for a GM (which also sounds weird to me, but more plausible. =D) waste of time, it would go to page "second to last" and almost never be seen. suggestion board need MAJOR reworking, period. Suggestion for "LFGm" filter for LFG: becasue yoru right arron and genkitty, it will help so many people its worth risking https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1760033/lfg-tool... (landed 10 pages into the suggestion forum T.T) (2*) i too popped my head into LFGm tool a day or so ago, looking to find a group to play in as a player since the homebrew i DM has about 2-3 months of content left to run... (before i have to add another major story arc.... ) first game on the list, after filtering... "Group of 3 Seeking DM, I have a group of 3 looking for 1 more and a DM blah blah blah..." i quickly closed the tab in my browser. i just opened the LFGm tool right now, and out of the top 6 games on my "filtered" list, 4 are games seeking a GM..... Edit: at this time further examaning the list of games in my fitered list.. they go "Looking for..." Players, GM, GM, Players, GM, GM, Players, Players, GM, GM, Player going GM looking for experienced players to show him the ropes (THIS GUY IS GOLD, SOLID GOLD), GM, Players, GM, GM, Players, Players, GM... at this point my heart broke a little inside... GM, GM. Players.... my handout address suggestion too, what the hell why not... https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1723003/handouts...
