I am a GM looking for players. Will be running the BFRPG system (basically a system modeled after the old school systems from my past), and am looking for a few people that would like to play. Sundays work best for me, but there may be opportunities to have it float across the weekend depending on what everyone wants. I am in the Pacific Time Zone, and would be willing to play it starting as early as 6 am PST sunday but it appears that we are looking to start at 5 or 6 pm. See below for the short teaser for this game. This game will be played using the Basic Fantasy Role Playing Game rules (BFRPG) and all relevant supplements. All materials can be downloaded from the web for free at http://www.basicfantasy.org/downloads.html. I have a few house rules that you can see once we get that far. I am looking for 2-4 players that are interested in playing the role, interacting with the others, and being as much a part of this experience as I am. As mentioned in the title this is a text only group. No video or voice. The Western Lands are an extremely isolated area in the World of Morinia. In fact, most of the intelligent races in the Lands believe that this is the whole world. After the collapse of the Urdish Empire, much of the knowledge and technology needed to explore beyond this small region was lost. Upon occasion, a visitor from some far off land will appear in one tavern or another, filled with such wild tales that, to the common folks, border on the unbelievable. These eccentrics are general dismissed by the locals as a drunkard or liar. Having left home seeking some missing element in your young life, you were traveling in the southern reaches of the Lands when strange rumors reached your ears. These rumors speak of orc raids, local disappearances, and treasure in the wild lands surrounding the small military outpost of Morgansfort. Deciding to check for yourself, you gather your gear and soon find yourself standing in front of the imposing steel and wood gates of the fort. There are few people at the gates this early, but you do notice others that seem as out of place as you feel. Perhaps they are adventurers like you. The gates are closed and the older, surly guard tells you that visitors are not admitted until the gates open. He insists that you wait as the gates will open soon.
