Eraser?

I was wondering why there isn’t an eraser tool. One would be exceptionally useful, especially in the dynamic lighting settings so I wouldn’t have to risk erasing whole structures when opening doors and I could also remove walls if certain in game structures that were originally obstructing view came down without erasing the entire dungeon.

That's be a great idea for a Idea and Suggestion forum thread.
There is no eraser because Roll20 uses vector graphics. The square you draw is actually just four points, the four corners and the info of how they're connected to each other. Roll20 then draws the lines between the points dynamically as you zoom in or out instead of each pixel of the line being drawn individually. This creates sharper lines when you zoom in due to the way vector graphics work.
