closing pop-out results in inability to reopen

1426530905

Edited 1426531193
Copied from my original post in a previous thread . When I pop-out the character sheet and then use the X button to close it. I can not longer open the character sheet, neither by clicking on the character in the journal, nor by shift-clicking the token. I do not have "use window popouts for Characters" enabled but when I do that, the same problem occurs. I have tested for all the things in the journal (other characters and handouts which I can see) and it is the same issue. Basically, I can not close the pop out window for fear of not being able to open it again. This is fixed if I close the app/browser tab and reopen. I have tested this using the latest Chrome browser on two different Windows 7 machines. Heather

Can you please follow Steps 1-3, taking special care to temporarily disable all browser add-ons and extensions, temporarily pause your anti-virus, and try switching browsers (for Chrome/Firefox specific issues) to see if one of those components is causing the problem. If all of that fails, please follow Step 4 , including providing all of the necessary information, so that we can further assist you.
Completed steps 1-3 and still got the error. Here is step 4 the bug report Detailed Description: See first post. I have no more details than that. Are any other players in your game having this issue or is it only you? Is this with all characters or just this one?

None of the other people in my campaign are having the issues. They were using Chrome (an earlier version), Safari, and Firefox. I was not able to catch all their details in our game last night but can ask if you want. Glad to see there is another though. H
This seems to only be affecting the Chrome Beta version (which I know a lot of you are using due to that OTHER issue. /sigh) I think I was able to fix it as a one-off though for this specific browser version. Give it a try and let me know how it goes.
Actually, I take that back, it looks like this issue is more complicated than I thought. It is definitely only affecting Chrome 42. I'll keep working to see if I can come up with a fix. Sorry for the trouble.
