Settlers of Catan Module?

Hey, I was just wondering if there is a module for Settlers of Catan? I'm looking to set up a game with my friends and was hoping there was a module of something to set everything up easily. Also, if there is no module for Catan, does anyone have any suggestions on how to build a table for Catan? Any information would be much appreciated. Thanks! Dane

There is no module for Settlers of Catan on Roll20. Mayfair games would need to authorize such a module at the least, if not create it outright. It can certainly be created and played on Roll20 by an individual in a private game. It would be as simple as making the tiles and gsme pieces. Once you have a board in the correct starting state, you would just copy the campaign to make a new game, keeping a pristine board for reuse. With Catan, you could set up the tiles and roll markers as decks for setting up the board. You would set up the resources as decks as well.
Actually it's better to make each hex piece a rollable table. Then you can just right click and randomize the whole board.

Interesting. You could end up with more than 1 dessert that way, but I suppose it wouldn't be too bad to do that. =D I knew you had a setup HB, can you speak to handling resource cards? I was thinking as I wrote this that the stealing aspect might mean you want all the resource cards in a single deck. Thoughts?
I haven't gotten that far. Just messed around with getting the hexes correct and working. And you can set the weight on the desert really low to limit the chances of getting more than one. You can also just re-select any excess deserts and re-roll them. My friends and I prefer the randomness of not knowing what the board is gonna be vs using the pre-set pattern in the rulebooks. As for stealing, you could just drag all your resource cards onto the map and the player stealing could pick up the one they want.

Is there a way to use a card deck for the terrain tiles? The way we always played Catan was to put all the terrain tiles face down, do a massive multi-handed shuffle, arrange the tiles, and then and only then flip everything face up to see what land we'd created this time.

You should be able to.

I created the terrain tiles as rollable table tokens. They include a blank side for what we call Undiscovered Country, where you turn over tiles as you explore/build.
Did this work for your group? any tips for sombody that wants to do the same to present the game to some friends?
