Campaign Creation Aids

Hi folks I thought I'd start up a little general topic for people to add aids that they use to help create and manager their dungeons. I've personally been using a Dungeon Painter provided by Pyromancers.com ( http://pyromancers.com/dungeon-painter-online/ ) it is a very simple and easy to use map tool editor which allows you to create detailed maps with pre-made assets then export them as an image or pdf which are extremely easy to import into Roll20. I've attached a couple of maps of areas that I've created using (mostly) Dungeon Painter. It's also worth noting that you can set a custom grid size which fits perfectly into Roll20. Sometimes I've had to use the Roll20 align tool but it's never been an issue. If this thread kicks off I'll edit my first post with links to other resources and information that people post.

That is cool. That should help alot of people.I will have to look into it to see if it is easier to use vs using gimp and all my saved graphics.
It contains a lot of flooring and walls which make it very easy to build the basic foundations of a map. The walls and "tall" items such as the trees you see above all come with their own shadows to give the feeling of height. It comes with a lot of objects too but they are all very scattered and random. Everything you see above was created 100% within the Pyromancers dungeon creator though. Hopefully we can find other resources that help ease the creation process too rather than just creating it all oneself in photoshop or gimp.
Wizardawn website has many good tools; the random dungeon generator is pretty good... http://www.wizardawn.com/rpg/tool_ultimate.php If you want a random map, you can use http://donjon.bin.sh/d20/dungeon/ This site gives you a map that will drop right into Roll20 (.png and everything) Use the players map option and add secret stuff on the GM layer.
I just did a jungle map for random encounter, sharing it here! http://rpgamer.ru/media/map/5708/img.png

Francis, your jungle map shows up as larger than 5 MB. You might want to convert it to JPG to bring the size down. Additionally, PNGs can use up a lot of system resources on slower computers so unless you need a transparency JPG is usually preffered. Otherwise, nice map. I may have to use it in my own games. - Gauss
Oops! Sorry, I made it large... and quickly. Im really a newb here, trying to learn. Im gonna do more maps and share them
Yeah best bet is to always save them as JPEGs to stay under the maximum filesize. The alternative is cutting the map into smaller parts and joining them together in Roll20.
