Pretty light to start. I will be using subabilities, though I'll be using my own strength table that's eliminated exceptional strength (an 18 is equal to 18.76 strength). Players will choose a race out of the Complete series, and some limited ability swapping will be allowed. Inborn abilities such as infravision cannot be traded out. Classes will be selected out of the PHB, along with some others such as the barbarian classes or even classes from previous editions on a case-by-case basis. A player can then sell abilities off or gain a few points by taking disadvantages (for example, a fighter can sell his armor proficiencies for the points required to buy an increased hit dice). I much prefer the S&P proficiency system so I'll definitely be using that. Bulk points will be used. A lot of the combat & tactics is used, though the heavy tactics rules and wargamish rules will not. Spell points and different casting methods are also used.
