A question about maps.

Since usually on table DnD you'd draw a map on a flip mat. On Roll20 are there any flip mats available for download since I am of short time to make an actual maps so I'd just rather draw it out by hand. Any suggestions?

The campaign 'pages' themselves are effectively flip mats, you can use the grid and basic drawing tools to 'hand draw' your maps. You could also hand draw them and scan them to upload if that would give the desired effect. There are also many resources out there that offer free maps that you could utilise by uploading them into your library if they would suit your need and save you having to create anything at all yourself (the lazy GM's best friend). Hope that helps, Z (a lazy GM) ;)

Indeed, what Z said. Here are a couple of links in the Docs to help you with expanding the size of your grid to draw on. Make yourself a nice 70x100 page or something like that, plenty of squares to work with (you can always expand it more later too). You can change the background color (A nice dark grey is a good place to start), the grid line color (a nice light grey works), square grid or hex, change the measurements (often 5 feet per square for a battle mat). You can make a new page by copying the old page's settings, whenever you want to flip. https://wiki.roll20.net/Page_Toolbar https://wiki.roll20.net/Page_Settings And here are the tools to draw quick lines (any colors, use a bright color to stand out against Grey background and grids). You can draw shapes (solid or outlined). I highly recommend learning the POLYGON tool. It is superior to the Freehand tool, but you can also use the Freehand tool for fast sketching. https://wiki.roll20.net/Drawing_Tools
