This didn't used to be a problem, but now it seems to be. Copying multiple items and pasting in a new map doesn't work very well, all of the items seem to gather in the upper left corner and are unable to be selected. Occasionally one of the items will be available. As I copy/paste my player's tokens from one map to the next (as I'm sure many do), this is an incredibly important issue to resolve.
You should be able to reproduce the problem by selecting multiple objects (I've only tried this in the object layer), copying them, and attempting to paste them in a new map.
