I wanted to take a stab at being GM of a campaign, but I was curious about copyright issues. I wanted to create the old Sega "Warriors of the Eternal Sun" converted to 5e, but I wanted to make sure that is allowed, and if there are any tips about creating a new campaign from scratch.

Provided you aren't selling it, there isn't an issue with doing such things in your own private game. As for creating a new campaign from scratch, there are many helpful people in our community that can answer specific questions. If you're looking to get jump started, I recommend the two video series mentioned in the "New to Roll20 or RPGs? Need Guidance? Click Here. (Read the OP First)" thread: 1) If you're absolutely brand new to RPGs and want to know the general idea of how they are played, which game to choose and then find a group of fellow gamers: Check out our Introduction to Tabletop RPGs series . 2) If you've played tabletop RPGs before and just want to get a understanding of how Roll20 can be used: Check out our Roll20 Crash Course . This is a step-by-step overview for creating your very first Roll20 campaign. This tutorial uses the Pathfinder RPG to frame itself, but it's not a system specific tutorial and you should be able to follow along without knowing one single thing about Pathfinder.

Thanks Aaron. I don't plan on selling it, but maybe if I manage to finish it, I would like to share it with others. I am familiar with some tabletop RPGs, but I was thinking more of having issues finding tiles, etc. which most of the R20 CC video does cover.
