Greetings, all! Because I still want to get the word out, I'm a PC seeking a GM for a collaborative adventure. I have my full details (including my Roll20 campaign page and my explanation for this atypical setup). See details below. -=ROLL20 CAMPAIGN PAGE=- https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/801048/lf... -=INTRO=-
This is a campaign about a lone(?) Telepath/Thrallherd
taking over the world, or at least experiencing the fullness of life
that Planescape (that is, the collection of planes that comprises the
cosmos/multiverse) has to offer. Social encounters, mining, opening and
operating a business, dungeon crawling, trophy collecting, planar
tourism, dungeon keeping, and saving/conquering the world (virtually the
same thing) are all suggestions for campaigns.
-=WHY THIS CHARACTER?=-
First, here's the character plus relevant thrall, believer, and psicrystal stats. http://bit.ly/1Eyi6gk
Second, I've been curious about playing a Thrallherd
ever since I read 3.5's Expanded Psionics Handbook about a decade ago.
Being a Thrallherd means I'm effectively my own party. I prefer to
avoid hogging the spotlight in a typical party.
Third, having a bunch of thralls and believers on deck
just seems -so cool!- It means I can play a variety of character builds
in the same campaign with an in-character justification for switching
them!
-=WHAT SORT OF CAMPAIGN SHOULD YOU EXPECT?=-
Difficulty-wise, I tend to prefer difficult games, such as soloing a campaign meant for a balanced party of 4.
Subject matter-wise, let's just keep it to PG-13 (or
thereabouts). Within the PG-13 rating, I'm a fan of the breadth of
experience – social encounters, skill challenges, combat, and other
things mentioned in the intro.
-=3.5 OR PATHFINDER?=-
I assumed 3.5 interpretations of all stats. Some things
can easily port to Pathfinder, assuming I can use the 3.5
interpretations of things if they conflict with Pathfinder.
My knowledge of Pathfinder is moderate. My knowledge
of 3.5 is masterful. I'd prefer not to compete with you, the GM, but do
let me know if you find the challenge of competing with a master
D&D 3.5 player appealing.
-=INTERESTED IN GMING?=-
I'm willing to work with you on this for adventure,
setting, and story ideas. A Thrallherd is -quite- the class to play,
basically being the leader of an army; a varying, disposable,
replenishing army.
Schedule-wise, talk with me and we can arrange a time.
I do NOT want to play by post! Roll20, Skype, and OpenRPG (and perhaps
more!) are options!
-=GAME TIME=-
To be determined. (Ignore the default game time until we've settled on one.)
