Dynamic Lighting Questions

I have a few questions about dynamic lighting: Does dynamic lighting processing happen serverside or clientside? In otherwords, if I am not currently viewing a map, do any of the dynamic lighting effects on that map contribute to an overall performance decrease in my campaign? If so, will simply turning off dynamic lighting on that map when not using it correct the issue, or would I need to remove all tokens that have "emits light" options enabled?

DL is rendered Client side. No rendering happens on a page that isn't the current page for DL. It shouldn't contribute to any sort of lag for any page that is not the current page.
Ok. That means this map is just too dang big. Thanks. :D
