I'd like to try DM'ing a D&D Fifth Edition (5E) scenario. I DM'd D&D quite a lot many years ago, back in the olden days when face-to-face was the only option. Then, after a break of many years, I've tried playing a number of games of Pathfinder. I like what I've seen of D&D 5E so I'd like to try DM'ing it. I'm very familiar with DM'ing in general, but I'll be new to the D&D 5E rules (as everyone will be to some extent since the rules are still quite new). So the pace may be a bit slow to start, then pick up as we all get more familiar with the mechanical details. My general idea at this point is that the game will be once per week, on Sundays, roughly 9 am to 1 pm Pacific Time (I'm on the West Coast of the USA). We'll start with a "session zero" (probably on Sunday, July 5) where we do some introductory things like review character sheets, talk about our characters etc., then actually start playing in the following session. I will run either the starter scenario (Lost Mines of Phandelver) or a D&D 5E scenario (like Horde of the Dragon Queen) and I'm open to suggestions in this regard, subject to the rule that it has to start at level one. To start out, we'll be using Roll 20 for dice rolling and Skype for verbal communication, but I won't have Roll 20 visual maps. That may change as things progress. If you're interested, post something here indicating 1) whether you are over 21 years old, 2) what class you would like to play, 3) what scenario you would like to play and 4) any other comments or suggestions you may have. If there appears to be sufficient interest, I will post further details.
