Second meeting with Baron Vandermir

Sandra (and whoever else wants to come with her) receive a response to her message to Baron Vandermir a few days after sending it, in the form of an invitation. This gets you past the guards at the gate of Calliver's Green, the exclusive neighborhood in Farholde where the baron's mansion lies. Again, everyone but Sandra must leave their weapons at the door of the mansion. That done, you are shown into a large and well-appointed library. Its massive westward-facing window has a stunning view of the mouth of the river Scardynn, bustling with ships. On the far side of the Scardynn hulks the fortress of Goodmond, the westernmost castle of the Watch Wall. The baron rises from a divan to greet you with an ironically raised eyebrow. "So kind of you to visit again. And such an interesting message you sent."
Tek, liking to know what's going on at all times, joins Sandra. He will aid her in persuading the Baron if he can. He greets him and says, "I'm glad to be here, Baron Vandermir, and yes, our message was very interesting." He smiles a wicked smile with his sharp, metal teeth and then says, "So what do you think of it?"
Riss is there, but like last time, he doesn't say much.
Vinha is also there, and like Riss, doesn't say much.
Sandra's put the Sons' hidden treasure to use, and shows up to the baron's mansion wearing a flowing white gown with silver filigree that shines a bright, dark red when it catches the light just right. She's carrying with her a polished wooden box, which has been stained and dyed to a rich scarlet-brown finish. Like the others (whom I presume are using the circlets), she's using the iron circlet's power to bring a little color to her unnaturally pale features, though once the party is behind closed doors she promptly dispels the effect. Giving the Baron a slight curtsy as he rises, she nods and listens to Tek as he speaks, adding to the wizard's greeting. "As an aside, I would like to thank you for meeting us. I hope you'll forgive me for saying so, Baron, but our last meeting, pleasant though it was, was not very conducive to our efforts. As a show of gratitude for taking the risk of meeting with us again, I would like to present you with a gift, to ensure that we remain in your good graces and perhaps ensure further, more fruitful meetings." With that, she presents the Baron with the box, which contains the skull of the coatl that guarded the seal. Cleaned, polished, and set with two small springs at the hinge of the jaw, Sandra has turned the ancient guardian of good into little more than an elaborate paperweight- a desecration that Sandra finds particularly appealing. It also serves as a tacit reminder of the group's capabilities. "I realize our request must seem more than a little farfetched. A living descendant of the Sons of the Pale Horsemen.. I don't imagine the cult kept a list of members anywhere," Sandra muses aloud. "Though, one must wonder why you deigned to meet us here in your library. I don't suppose you've found something that could help us, Baron Vandermir?"
The baron touches the skull with a curious finger. "Quite gracious of you. You're correct, there was never any register of those who belonged to the Sons of the Pale Horseman. Still, their agents did occasionally slip into Farholde, and some by-blows were left behind. "Their descendants, of course, are not eager to make the association known. But there are some who remember, and I have no doubt it would be possible for me to find one for you. For, shall we say, a reasonable finder's fee?"
