Looking for a mentor.

I am new to table top role playing. I have always wanted to participate but have never been afforded the opportunity. I can be very charismatic and adapt to any scenario. Since I am new to role playing and table top games I am willing to accept criticism as well as insight. I am open to any hours of gaming however timing will be adjusted accordingly to my work schedule. (edit) Feel free to message me, I am new to posting and what not.

What kind of game are you looking for? DnD? Shadowrun? Pathfinder? If you are unfamiliar with the different games, are you looking for something more sci-fi or fantasy, or a fandom (like pokemon or starwars)?

Gary, Looking for anything really. DnD has really caught my eye but I am open to anything. I am familiar with Shadowrun, Star Wars, and Pokemon although they are not something I have considered for tabletop gaming. I am a huge fan of H.P. Lovecraft and the Cthulhu Mythos but have never really delved into the fan fiction side. As I said, new to table top gaming but not unwilling to learn. Hope to hear, and possibly game, soon. Edward

Would you like to try Basic Fantasy RPG? It's a free game that is a good introduction. I have a campaign where I welcome new players. We only play about once a month or so usually, and just played last week, so it will be a few weeks until the next game session. Looking for anything as I am new to tabletop gaming. Once a month doesn't really harm my work as I am on call almost 24/7.
