Curiously enough this version can be used twice a day instead of once, and neither counts as an item daily power. Dire Radiance of the Dawn Titan: Kalael benefits from the Incendiary Ring of Fireblazing item, though it does not take up a slot, does not count against his limit of 4 rares, and the daily power can be used without counting as an item daily power.
XP Carried Forward: 4,025 xp - What a convenient rock slide: 175 xp - Rescuing people and meeting Balrog: 100 xp - Zombies, zombies, zombies...why won't they stay down: 175 xp - Cutting down Aramil's servants: 275 xp - Finding the cause of the sickness and a method to reverse it: 100 xp Total XP: 4,850 xp
Awesome! Thanks Cloud. I had a fun first session :)
Loot - Bracers of Mental Might (Level 6) - Healer's Chain Armour +1 (Level 5) - Steadfast Amulet +2 (Level 8) - Symbol of Daring +1 (Level 5) Gems and coins (including for convenience sake the reward from Rikas now), amounting to: 230 gp each

XP Carried Forward: 4,850 xp - Non-Canon Black Dragon Fight: 100 xp (Reduced because, you know, non-canon.) - Finding somewhere safe to keep the staff of change, Cabredunar: 75 xp Total XP: 5,025 xp Next Level: 5,500 xp
XP Carried Forward: 5,025 xp - Talking down bandits who had no idea how screwed they really were: 150 xp - Wraiths like souls~: 225 xp Total XP: 5,400 xp Any loot is pending me working out what to do with having 5 players, and if to keep waiting on Cat or not.
So, redoing the maths for 5 players worked out mostly okay, there a few kinks but they'll resolve themselves within a level. The bow and armour Dante had get carried off to wherever he wanders too, while the rest of items him and Teeta had are up for grabs if they weren't already claimed. (Zoul and Daisy get shiny new armour a bit later then planned, but it'll still happen in the first half of the heroic tier.) You already have all the items you should receive before level 5 (and 25% of the ones you should get while on level 5). Coincidentally enough, you're down about 25% of the gold you should be (the gold rewarded is constant, only items scale with the number of people, so now you have less people to divide the same gold between, but less items to receive). Normally I'd leave that all behind the curtain, but, yeah, if you get less items and more gold in the near future, you know why. Somewhat related (but mostly because they were wraiths), you haven't anything of value yet, so just XP from the last session, plus the new Accurate Staff of Ruin (+2) Zoul picked up of course. I've updated the first post accordingly, let me know if any of the item assignments are wrong.
So yay, Dante is back. Which means I had to add back the bow and armour he has. Which means you have 75% of the items you should get at level 5. So you know, see above on lots of money and not many items in the near future.
Carried Forward: 5,400 xp - Do zombie otyugh like brains or trash more?: 200 xp - Why does this pudding taste like acid?: 250 xp - Making the ruins safe for the scholars: 200 xp Total: 6,050 xp Which for those keeping track is enough to be level 5. Loot will come when you actually go to a city, you didn't find anything of value (to you) in the ruins.

No XP as we didn't do much with 2-3 people on and off for the day, but you got back to the town so rewards happened. The Emperor was convinced that returning a dangerous minor artifact was worthy of reward, in addition to what you got from completeing your latest request. You got 230 gp each and several magic items, I'll update the first post. Also hey they scabbard disappeared what scabbard? >.> <.< Fuum, if you help Naka with their character before me, they can have +2 generic equipment (that is, a +2 weapon or implement, +2 armour, +2 neck slot, which does nothing but grants its enhancement bonus), in addition to the same GP total of the party. Dante, I defaulted to you having the Steadfast Amulet as it was the one that was free when Zoul changed to the Cloak of Translocation, but between the party you should work out who has which neck slot and at least be using one of them.
So, we finally played again, whoo. I've updated the item list, including the new Siberys Shard of the Mage. You also got 250 xp from the attack of the ice elementals that just wanted to cure you of your unnatural warmth, for a total of 6,300.
Carried Forward: 6,300 xp - Finding the source of the disappearances: 250 xp - Defeated the demonic gnoll and his allies: 250 xp Total: 6,800 xp Loot wise, inside that chest it would seem the Gnolls were keeping whatever treasure they found on the bodies, most of it probably from the 'sleazeball' whose house you were at, amounting to 100 gp each. Off the body of the leader you found a Viper Belt. Just to keep track of it, you were given a Potion of Regengeration and 5 Potions of Cure Light Wounds from Skye.
Carried Forward: 6,800 xp - Defeating the undead dragons: 400 xp - Saving Yhathe: 300 xp Total: 7,500 xp Which is level 6, congrats guys. No treasure from the fight itself, but who knows what might be coming for saving a city of 150,000 people.

Carried Forward: 7,500 xp - Taking Azrael somewhere safe and securing his aid in research: 100 xp - Finding out more about the true nature of Ore: 100 xp Total: 7,700 xp Item wise, the party received another 6x Potions of Cure Light Wounds, and 3x Potions of Healing. I'm also giving out 200 gp each if you want to buy items, but just note it's slightly in advance, it's the reward for saving Yhathe, so no crying foul when you don't get a reward in the future for that.
Carried Forward: 7,700 xp - Clearing out the octoburrrs: 250 xp - Checking on Moreithel (the village) and soothing the populations' nerves, and the encounter summary: 100 xp Total: 8,050 xp Nothing loot wise, alas the octoburrrs did not have loot MMO style.
XP Carried Forward: 8,050 xp - Bargaining save passage through the woods: 200 xp - Defeating the Dolgaunts and their aberrant servants: 350 xp Total: 8,600 xp Loot One magic item on each Dolgaunt; - Belt of Vigor - Fireheart Tattoo

Loot - Coins, gems, and selling unusable or old loot (including for convenice outdated +1 equipment now), amounting to 400 gp each. - 3x Potion of Healing (found on the bodies of the cultists). - 3x Potion of Cure Moderate Wounds ('borrowed' by Hector from the Cult of Twilight, and given to the party as drinking them would harm him). - +2 Rending Katar (found on the body of Geriesh). Reminder you know people that will move enchantments from one weapon to another. - +2 Battle Harness Leather Armour (found on the body of Geriesh). - Boots of the Fencing Master (found on the body of Geriesh). - + 2 Predator's Hide Armour (Dante's armour since his meeting with the other Shifter has inexplicably aged, and grown in power). ...Sorry, with people coming and going, it seems I've been a bit slack with loot, but hey, an excuse to properly reward putting down Geriesh and rescuing Hector while not letting Skye die.

Carried Forward: 10,500 xp - Random Non-Canon Practice Fight with Summary: 200 xp Total: 10,700 xp No loot technically, but ah, watch that first post, I'll be redoing all the items (hopefully by Friday, curse uni, though I've started now and yay insomnia, so we'll see). Not quite a complete mulligan as any generic items anyone could use will stick around, but yeah, expect a shaken up list, and we'll have to work out who has what again. Of note, your GP each is 2,300 gp, which I'm totally fine with you (and even expect you to) spending it to help fill out your other slots or buy secondary weapons. (Feel free to assume you did it at any point in the last 6 levels, or even before you left the Imperial City. I'm not going to punish you for my slackness.) Item wise I still need to do your 'big 3', and go over some of the slots with a finer comb when I'm a bit more rested, but progress. I took out the bracers of archery, but otherwise added quite a few items, generally going for fairly generic items that a few people could use.
No regular chargers in the party? People that use shields? More item tweaks yay. ^^" Thanks for putting up with me, you also at least have neck slots now. I have absolutely no idea how this is going to fall out on the wealth by level scales, I'm just using +2 for all the big slots for simplicity, so the next few enemies might be pinatas, or it might be barren for a while, we'll see.
Hey you actually have armour now, look at that. Will you have weapon/implements in time? Who can say. ^^" Just a reminder that there is a ritual to move enchants from one armour/weapon to another, so as long as the enchantment remains on a legal item type, I don't mind if they're moved to better suit people.
Carried Forward: 10,700 xp - Surviving a Nightmare Walker, Terror of the Deeper Shadowfell: 600 xp - Combat Summary: 100 xp - Extracting Information from the Nightmare Walker: 300 xp Total: 11,700 xp No loot as of yet, alas not even MMO logic can intrude into a person's dreamscape.

Carried Forward: 11,700 xp - Defeating the waves of shadow creatures: 500 xp - Combat summary: 100 xp - Restoring Erthiz to health and removing the 'carpet of shadows': 500 xp Total: 12,800 xp Loot? Ah, see that first post by the game. No honestly this time. ^^" Edit: And maybe I still need to do some items, though largely it's probably okay now, you also get between the reward from the Adventurer's Guild, not to mention quite a generous bonus from Erthiz, 500 gp each, for a total of 2,800 gp.

Carried Forward: 12,800 xp - Surviving the Ambush of Sarvin: 500 xp - Talking down Sarvin and taking him alive: 400 xp Total: 13,700 xp Loot: - Wealth (largely in the form of Residuum, the component for rituals, from Sarvin) for a total of 100 gp each, for a 2,900 gp running total for each player. - The Frost Rapier carried by Daisy, seemingly inexplicably, after being exposed to the Shadowfell and the blood of foes, has become a +2 Frost Brand Rapier. - Sarvin offers to help enchant the Defensive Weapon of Mavaeth to +3, what he claims as a morbid joke and mark of respect for being smashed into the ground. --- Not loot, but, fixing up items in general; - The [+1] Rhythm Blade [Wrist Razor] implodes and become a Battleforged Shield, because your DM is a derp and the Rhythm Blade doesn't work when on the arms slot. - The Boots of Free Movement implode and become Boots of Adept Charging, given that the former boots were aimed at skirmishing sorcerers, and now we have at least 2 people that could be charge happy. Somewhat related, as I deal with items again and have had time to go through them, there are some items left over that were intended for classes we no longer have, but if people like them I won't remove them. If I remove an item, expect it to replaced with something better, so typically me replacing an item will work out better, but I don't want to break up item marriages. =P - Parry Gauntlets (Level 5) Actually intended for our resident warden, this one is a plain mistake on my part. It doesn't stack with the defensive weapon, and I doubt anyone else is interesting in this item. - Fireheart Tattoo (Level 4) - Tattoo of Vengeance (Level 5) I think this was more me trying to shoehorn low level items in for every slot, but in retrospect these are both worse then the cheaper demonskin tattoo. If these two tattoos end up getting dropped I'll probably retcon one of them into a Pierced Heart Tattoo for even more second wind optimisation.
You know what, with getting a new player, just, go off whatever is in the first post again for now. ^^"
For my own record, if Inara makes a game, this is what she comes with; Zamira (Melody): +2 Githyanki Silver Longsword +2 Healer's Armor [Hide] +2 Healer's Brooch Skull Mask Belt of Vigor Tattoo of Vengeance Please see the first post shortly for updated items, and feel free to use anything that remains in that post even if technically it's reserved for Zamira, the item can have a clone if it comes up.

(No items because you're 5,500 gp over budget, but from 550 xp it went up by 9,000 gp, so, not removing anything else, and in one encounter things should right themselves.)

Still need to do that loot, I'm the actual worst. Carried Forward: 16,850 xp - What's with Hengvaul and these damn oozes: 600 xp Total: 17,450 xp
No seriously loot soonTM, I suppose I have too for real now that I've given out some items, bluh, I'll go do maths then. Sorry rapidly approaching exam period here for university down under. Carried Forward: 17,450 xp - Cat and Fuum summary tag team: 150xp Total: 17,600 xp Any quest xp for retrieving the idol will probably wait until you live through doing that.
Has it really been a month since I've done XP? I'm awful at this. Carried Forward: 17,600 xp - Mind Flayer and Co.: 700 xp - Summary: 100 xp - Finding, Retrieving, and Securing the Minor Artifact Idol: 500 xp Total: 18,900 xp
Not sure if I should ask here or somewhere else, but is us picking up these two items from Hengvaul still a thing? Or, tentative until finalizing group's general make-up/people/stuff? Circlet of Indomitability Boots of Quickness
I really do need to redo loot for having new people, oh dear. xD Uh, that aside for now, does the current time still work for people? I know some of our American's are slightly less nocturnal now, and the game is in my afternoon so it's trival to make it start earlier (or later I guess if people are super night owls).
If you give or take one hour I will be fine.
Been a while since I did this, January is apparently a fluster cluck of a month for me. Carried Forward: 18,900 xp - Goblin Bandits: 500 xp Total XP: 19,400 Also while I really do need to do items, pending on hopefully a finalised party, gold is easy to do. I suppose that mind flayer and the bandits were loaded, and the library generous when trading Hengavul currency for modern currency. Carried Forward: 3,100 gp each - Mind Flayer: 400 gp each - Hengvaul Artifacts: 2,000 gp each - Bandits: 400 gp each Total GP: 5,900 each

So now that I have 6 players, and I know all your classes, and I'm hoping you're all going to turn up, I've updated the item list, and from now I hope I can just reward loot from drops. OOC wise, work out who has what from the list, we can either do this in the game, though I don't mind if it's done before hand, there's a forum and discord for a reason. IC wise, if you're new to the party, the items you end up with you walked in with, done, easy, if the item is particularly note worthy, feel free to think about where it came from. From those already in the party, if you end up with a new item, you totally always had that item from that other adventure, totally. (Or the Library provided things from the vault in return for that artifact.) Please do note you should have 5,900 gp each, minus any spent by those that have had the chance. I'll point out generic +2 weapons are 1,800 gp, and generic +1 weapons 360 gp, if you need backup/secondary weapons. Also keep in mind that most drops will be above your level, which is to say if you want an item below your level for one of your slots, either speak now and give me an item wish list, or, buy it yourself, particularly if you're interested in an item that's already dropped as I try to avoid duplicates so I can show you the world of items, shining, shimmering- you get the point.
Carried Foward XP: 19,400 Bugbear Encounter: 450 Total XP: 19,850 Carried Gold Each: 5,900 gp (including starting 100 gp) Stolen Bugbear Gems: 100 gp each Total GP: 6,000 gp (including starting 100 gp) Magic Items - Eager Hero's Tattoo (Level 10)
Turns out with Roti dying and then the Aboleth fun times, I never did give XP for that fight. Carried Foward XP: 19,850 Water Elements and Sculpted Flesh Encounter: 450 Summary, Song, and Saving Ed: 100 Total XP: 20,450 Which yes, does put you exactly 50 xp short of leveling up. Related, killing an Aboleth will probably level you. No additional loot as of yet.
Loot coming, just wanted to get anything with raising dead and a new character sorted out before throwing stuff at the stuff. Mostly it would be money from component, or using said components to get magic items, so it might even wait until you're back in the capital. Anyway, right, officially getting the XP to get to level 10. Carried Forward XP: 20,450 - Aboleth and Friends: 650 - Quest and Summary Experience: 500 Total XP: 21,600

Don't forget the mindflayer head
Carried Forward XP: 22,100 - Elemental Triad: 600 - Summary and using Primordial/Diplomacy: 100 Total XP: 22,800 Diplomacy in this case mostly being clever use of primordial and talking to elementals; dealing with Namiko does have its own substantial reward, regardless of how that's done, but we'll see what happens there. Going through each slot slowly, anything updated in June you should probably assume is done (got to Waist Slots, need sleep). Between items...reclaimed, from Enna, and new items for Ponachi and Ren, quite a few new items to find homes. Given slackness on my end and new characters, you're free to arrange items as you feel fit, and items that end up on Ponachi and Ren, they walked in with. Which is to say new items can go to existing characters and their items can go to new characters and it all works because timey-whimey-ball-something. New Items - [+2] Shadow Master Ki Focus [Ki Focus] (Level 8) I would assume Ren can use this. Let me know if you have a superior implement you'd want this to be. - [+3] Shadowflow Armor [(Drowmesh) Leather] (Level 13) I don't normally tell you were new items should go, but, *nudge nudge hint hint Ren*. - [+3] Assassin's Cloak (Level 14) I mean, I suppose someone else could use it, but, Ren might enjoy this. - Counterstrike Guards (Level 4) - Executioner's Bracers (Level 3) - Boots of Free Movement (Level 6) - Boots of Stealth (Level 3) - Resplendent Gloves (Level 5) - Hedge Wizard’s Gloves (Level 4) Another sort of Wondrous Item, this item I expect to stick around in the bag of holding even if everyone else picks up better items. Which is also to say no one has to equip these, though if for now their hand slots are free anyway, they might want too. Kept Enna Items - [+3] Dwarven Armor [(Wyvernscale) Scale] (Level 12) - Bracers of Mighty Striking (Level 2) - Boots of Quickness (Level 8) - Strikebacks (Level 10) - Casque of Tactics (Level 4) Removed Items - [+3] Bradaman's Weapon [Halberd] (Level 13) - [+2] Bloodiron Armor [(Drakescale) Scale] (Level 8) I know this was Peren's, not Enna's, but unless there are strong opinions either way, may I suggest that Enna's old armour might be more powerful in new hands. - [+2] Amulet of Life (Level 10) Speak now if you want this neck item over your current one.
Also a note that with paragon around the corner, or more to the point items being paragon level drops now, some of the early heroic tier items are going to get really dated. You are quite welcome to sell items (the removed thing is just because of players leaving and the such), just make sure to let me know so I can update the list. If you can convince me that the items are similar enough it should be possible to upgrade them, that's certainly a possibility too.
XP Carried Forward: 22,800 - Combined RP/Owning Consequences XP: 700 Total XP: 23,500 Loot - Selling collected Aberrant and Elemental bits for enough gold for everyone to have: 6.200 gp instead of 6,000 gp - And Your Little Dog Too: Onyx Dog I'll also update that first post so that our Barbarian has a weapon outside of my head, my bad. There might be more loot coming, but, if there is there will actually be a reason, and I'll make another post for it.
So, going through Fuum's post, the following items aren't around anymore, by virtue of Peren walking away with them (which is to say largely items that were for Archery.); - [+2] Feyslaughter Weapon [Greatbow] (Level 9) - Bracers of Archery (Level 6) Anyway, in addition to the Onyx Dog and extra funds, while I will also go over this in game and in character, to perhaps save the game from 1 hour of discussion, the following package arrives for Kalael tomorrow in game at the Guild Hall, with a Scroll, Belt, and a letter; "Kalael, sorry I can't do more, but I manged to find a common magic item no will miss from one of the library vaults, that I hope will protect you or one of your allies from necromantic and trasmutative magic. More importantly, that scroll is made from an associate, and should improve a magical item. Hopefully of course you don't need it, but even if nothing happens, consider these thanks for being on standby. - Sarathai" - Belt of Vim (Level 8) - Scroll of Improve Item; Improves a +2 item of level 8 or lower to +3.
XP Carried Forward: 23,500 - Tetra-Elemental Dragons: 700 Total XP: 24,200 Also, in addition to the 1 restored healing surge (or THP equal to your surge value if you were already at maximum, which might only be applicable for Ren), that encounter was a mile stone.
