So I ran my first session using Roll20 with a live group using a large 27" All-in-One PC as a tabletop touchscreen battlemat. Worked great! One of the things I noticed regarding the lighting, is that there should be some perceivable light coming from doorways when the players are in a dark hall and the room beyond the door has a bright light source. So I added a small token with a square matching the color of the door. I reduced it down to 10x10 pixels and gave it a light source of 2' of bright light. I then made it a 180 degree angle facing away from the door. This gave the perfect light emission on the dark side of the door outlining the door and giving the impression that there was light on the other side. I originally made this dim light, but then the dark vision players were missing it. So I made it bright light instead. If the light hitting the other side of the door is dim, I would say there isn't enough to indicate light on the player side, so I wouldn't use this on such a door.
