Stellar Winds: Renegades - Season 3

Campaign Details: Characters are currently between 100 - 150 at this time. With a 30% Increase for Disadvantages. Some characters have been adventuring longer, (Since 1st Adventure or "1st Season") They've naturally accrued more experience. We give the option to loan new plays some bonus points which are paid back along the way. (No one wants to be 100 pt character in a group of 145's. Though we also want to reward time spent playing the story.) Count on making a 125 point character. Technology Level ranges from 9,10,11. Some Alien Speices have better technology. As you go farther away from the Core Worlds technology becomes less. When you make your character you'll be able to choose between TL 9 and 10. (11 is sorta plot device items "the Lost Tech" from lost golden age of Technology.) So, currently the Stella Sigma Sector is in a Dark Age of sorts. http://stellarwinds.wikidot.com/the-species (These are the races. Note Wiki is work in progress.) Magic is certainly allowed. (As we can sorta think of this as DnD in space.) Though magic is also dangerous as it has deep ties to darker powers, and mysticism (Think Warhammer 40k in that aspect.) As for Divine powers, Not so much. We've sorta gone with the whole, magic is magic. (Like Skyrim). You can specialize, or multi-class in the various schools / magical art. A healer, is just mage with spells from healing school magic. As for Pantheons. There are countless spiritual faiths all through the stars with all kinds of religious believes and so on. Nothing official. ---- The group we have assembled so far has been playing with one another for over two years. Alot of our players are invested the various drama, high-cinematic space adventure. Intense Space Ship Battles, Crazy War Zones, Exploring of old Ancient Elven Ruins from millenniums past. Battles with Space Orcs, and demon culture, as well as dodging pirates that are after there ship. Though as I pointed out earlier think Warhammer 40k Mystical as magic plays deeply rooted dangerous power, and misunderstood in the universe. It's secrets are great, seeking them is dangerous work. So in that aspect characters face dark things. (Demons, Unorthodox Dark Sciences, Magical Drugs, Dark Rituals, and so on though all that is sorta hidden in gaps of the world. Normal people don't usually face such terrible wounder.) So little background on the storyline currently. Season 1: Powerful Technology Coperate Syndicate named Zergal hired these skilled adventurers to visit this world they discovered in the Asyuran Belt to dig old elf technology for the human kingdom worlds. These adventurers got caught in between cooperate rivarly and crash landed on that planet. They ran into some Eldar Guardians (Space Elves) on there own mission to recover lost relics of there faded empire. Ultimatelly the had to band together to deal with some of the darker stuff going on this world. Preventing the corporations from disrupting sealed away demon from ancient battle long ago. With Success, they discovered artifact starship that they know little about and were able to escape that world. Then together they decided to explore it's potential for personal reasons of the elves involved, and the contractors from Zergal, they kept the ship, and decided to go rogue. Season 2: The ship has been named the Crimson Wolf at this point. The group quickly realizes the challanges it takes to run, and mantain the ship. They also realizes they have no legal papers, or charters, and they have to deal with all the logistics of runing a space craft, one they barely know anything about. So they spent a lot of time trying to uncover it's secrets. So they went to a Pirate port named Tortuga. (Sorta based off the pirates of nassua.) Where they tried to become part of privateer organization so they can obtain a legitimate charter. They messed that up badly and ended up being discovered by some rivals the Dark Elf Space Pirates and were chased for while and the season ended with losing them in the old ancient extra-dimensional passage ways of the Webway. (Yah stealing from 40k now lots of fun. They spent large part of the season fixing there ship from various battles, and underhanded attacks from the Mora (Dark Elf Space Pirates). Season 3: Is just kicking off now. They are heading to only independent world of New Dallas that won it's independence from colonial rule in a ten year blood war against the nobles of the core worlds. There goals right now is to obtain a charter and reliable crew. From there they've been chasing down a few side quest I've provided. Though the big one they've settled on as group is a search for the Legendary Star League Treasure. In common lore, it's supposed to be untold riches from the last human empire that robed the riches of the alien species of the Stella Sigma Sector 400 years ago. No one has ever found it. Some think it's myth because some have spent all there lives searching for it with no success. So we'll see where this set of episodes will take the crew of the Crimson Wolf.
Current Characters of the Crew: Took. A Marksmen, ex-commando from the New Dallas Revolt. Mercenary, Ex-Military Specialist. Poor leadership skills and currently pilots the Crimson Wolf. He looooooves his guns! Doc. Musty is a human doctor from common background and has no concept the deeper, darker mysteries of magic, and alien life. This is his first experience with space elves, (they make up large majority of the crew). He's has strong medical skills. Is on the adventuer of his life. Erandor. He is currently the party leader as Lansolen (NPC) stepped down to take more supportive role. Mila. Is a Half Elf pirate from Tortuga. Her background has been growing up in the grunge of pirate society. She is very skilled with technology and has some experience with Lost Technology. Making her valuable engineer character of this crew. Though recent events from Season Two has made her start too pick up new skills. She currently is being trained in the Tau-Aom by Lansolen (NPC) Few NPCS are on the ship Fiona. A noblemen from the Core worlds. She's taken more home maker for the group. Cooking, Cleaning, and so on. Laylia. A human Mage Student / Apprentice that Erandor picked up on one various adventures. He teaches her magic now. Another Elf whom had gone rogue years ago. Mila's father and began to gain more stage light in season 2 when Milia was kidnapped by Dark Elf Pirates. Although he's leaving soon to return to his Privateer group aboard the Morning Star. ---- Characters that have passed. Wretch, A human roughen, and biker gang member who was caught up in the mess in season one. Ended up sacrificing himself to rescue the group. They named the ship after his old biker gang. The Crimson Wolves. Dr Kaluss, A powerful bioandriod that decided the group was too dangerous with the spaceship they had uncovered. He attempted to steal the ship but Lansolen cut him down. Obathia, A strong muscle bound merc that joined the crew on Tortuga. He was exposed to chaos matter during a battle with demon that was released accidentally. With no way of reversing the transformation he was experience from the dark powers. The group elected to provide him with a mercy kill.
Had fantastic game yesterday!
