I'm a player with 2 years of experience looking for a new group. I've played D&D 3.5, Pathfinder, and Legend System, and am currently looking to get into 4th edition D&D. I mainly play magic users of some sort - jack of all trades classes like Magi and Bards in particular - but as of late I've shifted more towards alternate magic systems. I'm looking for a friendly and open group. For Pathfinder, I'd prefer to play a mid-level game with a group that uses a decent amount of third-party content, Dreamscarred Press (Ultimate Psionics, Path of War, Akashic Mysteries) and Drop Dead Studios (Spheres of Power) material in particular. For 4e, I'm just looking to get my feet wet, so I'd prefer something pretty basic and open to new players. I'm mainly looking to try out the system's Wizard, and have an idea in mind for a flashy mage of sorts. (Alternatively, if someone with a group running something with a Fire Embem-esque setting happens to see this, I'd 110% be down to join in on that.)
