I am available any day other than Wednesday or Sunday (I GM a pathfinder RotRL campaign on Sunday), and would prefer evening or afternoon games that can be guaranteed to end at around or before midnight CDT. I have skype, ventrillo, and a working microphone. I am a long time 40k fan with significant experience in DH2.0 and have done a lot of reading on black crusade and the general 40k universe. I am posting this looking for a game, one that is expected to continue for a long time, as most of my games so far have suffered from GMs who quit for some reason or another (I am keenly aware that the only thing in common in these games was me). I am a team player and a serious roleplayer, but I prefer lighter hearted games (in the grim darkness of the far future, nothing makes any real sense.) I have a nasty tendency to deadpan though and sigh a lot, but I mean well. I also come prepared and have a number of character concepts i could whip up in short order for the games I listed. I can deal with dark humor, irreverence, and the occasional political jab, just no hate please. I might be a good fit if: The group is reliable and needs another player The group could use a serious roleplayer or serious-ish character. The group enjoys the 40k universe for its over-the-top style rather than grim-darkness The group likes lists (or else you probably would have stopped reading). I would NOT be a good fit for your group if: The group has a lot of very serious characters already and needs levity. The group has trouble maintaining a regular schedule. The group rotates GMs (I have to use pre-written adventures when I gm) The group is PVP heavy or suffers high character turnover. The group does not like lists and organization (I have probably already lost you by now though...). Sorry, long post, but i try to put everything up front so no surprises. EDIT: also, I have looked at the LFG listings but the games are mostly full (except for the one im in where the GM is a no show) I don't know if the LFG postings is a good place for individual players to look or start games if they don't plan on GMing. EDIT2: updated timeslot info to be more specific.
