LFP - GenCon Beta Test - Pathfinder - 5 players needed for two Sats 7/13 and 7/20

This will take place over two 4 hour sessions, one week apart. Please do not join if you can not make both sessions. - I would highly appreciate players use my pre-generated characters, although I will allow your own: 6th level / 20-point buy ability scores / 16,000 gp. - The adventure should be balanced for 5 players; any less than four players may result in the game being canceled. - Skype will be used for audio More details and sign up here: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/6500/sumer-prime-1-pathfinder Thanks!
Ah so is it testing the campaign mostly? Should point out it would be good to show the pre-gen characters you have available or at least a run down so people know what they are. I could be interested in giving it a shot, the world might be fun. I would mostly prefer though to run with my own character to be blunt, the biggest draw for me to play a pathfinder game is the creation processes. Its something I enjoy greatly tinkering and making up on my own a lot. Just a thing I prefer personally, though I figure your 'pregen' characters are mostly to test out the system in a more balanced format.
The actual convention game will be one 8 hour long adventure. I try for a decent balance of exploration, combat, and role playing. I split it up into 2 sessions for roll20 primarily because it's easier for me to get 4 free hours per weekend than 8. Good tip about the pregens. I wanted to post that online before the convention as well. I don't have time to post full character sheets atm, but here is the race / class breakdown: Krull Hetfield: Half Orc - 4th level Urban Barbarian / 2nd level Savage Skald Bard Renshi: Human - 6th level Monk of the Sacred Mountain Alexis Weis: Elf - 6th level Sorcerer Dalauk Ironfist: Dwarf - 6th level Cleric Lily Hiltopple: Halfling - 6th level Rogue
Fair enough. Yeah most people prefer to play their own character types. If it is pregen, always good to give players a run down of the character so they know what they are exactly and can find a connection to a character to play it. Then again, might be my overly Roleplaying side of me pushing that along. If its for fitting in the roleplay, typically a player should be willing to work with you on that, helping to adapt the character to fit into the story, though obviously there are some people that are more adapt at creating and making up good backstories then others that can flesh into the world. The brief breakdown can help quite a bit, not perfect but its a good helpful guide to draw in interest towards characters. If anything, it might help to add a brief snip it about their background or personality for the sake of roleplay since it might be a bit easier then bringing up a full character sheet. Anyways I still wish you good luck. I'll peep around though, as said, I do prefer an OC (original character) just to make it my own type of flavor, both in a statistical (what they can do) format, as well as with fleshing out a characters personality and background in a way that meshes to my liking (usually being sensible in why they act the way they do as well as their motivation).

My preference for wanting to test pregens for this beta is that convention games are full of people who sign up last minute or haven't prepared anything, so having tested and validated characters helps.
Ah very true. :) Either way I'd like to play then if you don't mind me doing a prepared character. Maybe attempt a Huntsman Cavalier I was thinking of trying out. I have no problem if you do take the idea and adjust it to your needs for a new pre-gen as well. :) I'll message you through PMs though for now just to clear it up here. I do like the nice format of the pre-gens, only nit pick I could make would be putting some note to stat their class on the drive, but then again its not going to be for online so its no big deal. :)
