The year is 4666 AR, and the burgeoning city of Magnimar is looking to settle nearby farmlands to feed its growing populace and increase its political power as it vies for regional dominance with Korvosa. To this end, the Lord-Mayor has begun levying resources for building a new colony along the Lost Coast to the east. Some families have contributed coin, others have supplied tools and material, but your own family has chosen to provide you. I am attempting to put together a campaign that combines elements of the Kingmaker and Rise of the Runelords adventure paths published by Paizo. This will be a level 1-20 campaign, and may eventually incorporate elements from Mythic Adventures. Expect to be fighting a lot of monsters, but also to spend plenty of time roleplaying at various junctures throughout the campaign, and of course there will be an abundant amount of downtime activities available, including kingdom-building. Key Elements 1 - Time I am on Pacific Daylight Time (GMT - 7 presently), and am available on weekends or on week nights other than Thursdays. 2 - Rules Characters may be constructed utilizing any Pathfinder book published by Paizo, with the requirement that any non-hardback books (those not in the PRD) be specifically noted, with the exception that only races from the core rulebook and the following list are permitted: Aasimar, Dhampir, Fetchling, Ifrit, Oread, Sylph, Tiefling, Undine. I expect a backstory which at a minimum describes the character's family, birthplace, two or more formative events, and why the character is in Magnimar if not a native of the town. Each character will receive one free campaign trait of my choice tied to their background, and two additional traits of the player's
choosing. 3 - Campaign Log I don't want players (or myself) to have to constantly sort through logs to find crucial information, the name of an NPC, or even just what day it is, so I will be developing a wiki over at Obsidian Portal. If all of this interests you, please send me a message at (trystiafarrower) on AIM or post your character concept and how I can get in touch with you to discuss the campaign, character development, scheduling, etc.
