New guy

Hey all, I'm the new person joining the campaign. I look forward to joining you all and being evil with you. Due to a miscommunication and scheduling, I'm not jumping in tomorrow, but the next one. Cheers, Eric
Hey there! Who's your character? Here's a brief introduction of ours: Sandra Verdun: Human Fighter/Paladin. Born to a barren nobleman through the aid of dark Asmodean magic. Mostly the party leader, fights with a sword and shield. My character. Vinha: Wood Elf Ranger. Had a spider but people killed it. Does sneaky dagger stuff. Tek: Gearforged Wizard. Made stuff at a coliseum. Blows stuff up with magic. Natters: Kobold Cleric. Worshiper of Tiamat. Provides comic relief, but also sometimes provides healing.
I'm not going to go too much into it without GM acceptance first, but the basic gist of it was to be an Occultist that was taken as a child and co-opted into being a harbinger for the return of Asmodeus (possibly in hell itself). Was released into Talingrade to prepare the way, but eventually arrested for trying to teleport a temple of Mitra into a place between planes, as well as distributing blasphemous texts.  Also, probably an Aasimar, because why not?
I've been trying to read through some of the session summaries to get a feel for where you guys are at to introduce myself as naturally as possible. But it's a little difficult, since some of it is in the char logs, and there's a lot of that. If you guys play tomorrow and the GM is okay with it, I may duck in later on in the session just as an observer, so I can get a sense and feel for things. 
That's fine with me.  At this point, the PCs have taken over a fortress that used to belong to an ancient evil cult, and have been occupying it for several months while conducting an extensive ritual to break the seal that keeps the cult's patron daemon away from this plane. So far, they've weathered a couple inquisitive groups of adventurers, an enraged treant, and various other hazards... 
So do I even need to have been arrested then? Can I not just be sent along by the cardinal?
Yeah, that's what I was figuring on.
