Macro Sets

Is there an api that allows the creation of macro sets?  So I could basically like go !set dungeon and it saves all the macros I currently have on my macro bar in a set called 'dungeon'.  And if I said !set/on dungeon It would turn off all my current macros on my macro bar putting the dungeon set up there. And if I said !set/off dungeon It would turn them off. I suppose it would require the api to have a place it can store data like in the script itself or on a note or macro it queries. But I don't know if thats feasible and if it is I have no idea if it exists.

Yeah, something like that is possible, but not necessary. What you could do is create a "character" for each dungeon and put a token on the map you can select to get those macro's back.
That doesn't quite work for my needs. For a lot of reasons. My maps tend to be very large, sometimes as big as 200 by 200 and its not really feasible to split them up as it would require having upwards to a dozen different smaller maps with myself and players constantly be juggled. So having that one big map is the best way. And that means I would almost always be out of sight of my tokens holding my macros. Plus having the tokens up would probably irritate my players. Ad on top of that I'm a bit off the cuff, I don't actually prepare stuff before my sessions because I don't like to railroad. I attempted macros for monsters once and it had potential but having a separate macro for about six different monsters and each with 2-4 different powers. Just filled up my screen. But to pull open a sheet, find/make an unused power card, paste it in, minimize, click the monster token set it to be controlled by the monster sheet. Well I think you can see why thats a lot of problems. But if my situation is rare then I am disappointed but I'll accept it and just keep on not using macros.
an alternate to the token system honey badger proposed, is create a character for each dungeon. put your macro's there. when you need the macros, open the character, and check show macro on macro bar for all the macro's you need. when done with that section, uncheck em.
