Hey, y'all ! I'm Alex, 22 years old, English student from Berlin Germany, TV-show enthusiast, dedicated gamer, experienced roleplayer, and not nearly as bloated and arrogant as this description makes me sound, I promise! My friend Anton is from Sweden, two years younger, but can provide similar experiences since we've been playing and roleplaying for some 8 years now. Even though you can never get a guarantee over forums like that, we are aware of the stereotypes when you got two friends in a game, and in our gaming experience we haven't fallen prey to those friend symptoms yet, thankfully. I'll force Anton to introduce himself in a post below so you can get to meet him as well. We've just come back from some adventures in D&D 5e, and while the core game seems solid, it's just not finished enough, at least for me it isn't. It lacks content, lacks the sheer amount of stuff you can pull off in 4e. I don't doubt it'll get there with time, but as of right now, the two of us want to get back to some 4th Edition and we'd love to join your game, of course after exchanged information and interviews. We've played: Hardcore Roleplay, Dungeon Crawls, Sandbox, Storydriven, and Random Sillyness games, and while we both like to minmax our characters and get a mix of roleplay and combat, we surely wouldn't mind games completely without roleplay, or focused fully on it, as long as that's communicated in advance of course. If no one is looking for two solid players to add to their campaign, this thread can be salvaged and turned into a LFM. We've had success finding DMs in the past, and if any DM is looking to start up a campaign then we'd be up (or down, depending on your slang preference) for that, too.
