I've got an idea for a Dark Elf centric game. Everyone will be playing dark elves. Drow, Shadow Elves, Dokkalfar, Night Elves, Dark Elves from Lodoss. The idea is that the Dark Elves are coming up out of their caves to discover a pristine wilderness. The idea is that the banishment to the caves under the Earth (the dark elves will be living in a cave system that is like the Mammoth Cave complex; or the Carlsbad Caverns) has been relinquished by the Gods and the Dark Elves are allowed to venture to the surface world. They come up, and out of the caves into a virgin wilderness. The player characters will be members of the initial settlement, the third generation. The drow sensitivity to light will be removed. The drow encampment has grown into a town (Blacklight) and their peace and safety is disturbed by monstrous devil dogs looking for something in their camp. With another migration of elves coming up from the bowels of the earth soon (to colonize another part of the virgin wilderness) the camp elders ask you, the PCs, to investigate the situation with the devil dogs to make sure that the land around about is safe for Dark Elf colonization. Time Period: 10 B.C to 2 A.D. Technology: Iron Age, usage of Steel is allowed, but it's steel type I (Medieval Steel), and it's expensive. Allowed Races: Angoren - Iron Elves Celebhel -- Silver Elves Rustanhel -- copper elves Silfanhel -- shining elves By GM's approval: Dark Elf Tiefling (Sereganor) Dark Elf Aasimar (Miregalnor -- Mithril Elves) Allowed Classes: Core Barbarian Bard Cleric (of Drowism [a Church like the ancient Jewish Church], or of Light and Darkness, or feel free to make up an "idol" god.) Druid Fighter Monk Paladin Ranger Sorcerer Wizard APG Alchemist Cavalier (feel free to make up an order) Oracle Summoner Witch Ultimate Magic Magus Occult Adventures Kineticist (also called Firebenders, Airbenders, Waterbenders, Earthbenders, and Aetherbenders) That should do it. If you are interested in playing an all dark elf campaign, one where colonization of the surface is a theme, then here's your chance.
