Art Library Organization...

I am have been running games for several months now, including a weekly campaign and My Art library is a mess. It is difficult to maintain with tags and current window does not resize correctly. I am using Chrome and while I can make the window bigger I only ever get two wide..also there is no way to select multiples easily. I would love a different view into my library, the ability to easily tag things or group things, a better filter function would be good and maybe the ability to apply tags on upload? All in all I need help with the art library.....

Could you go into more detail on not being able to select multiples easily? Such as what is currently difficult and how you would suggest improving it? - Gauss
You have to click each one separately..as oppose to mass select using the mouse (click and drag). Plus it seems there is a limit of 30  to apply tags.  Improvements.  Allow you include or exclude multiple tags on the filter (that would help with grouping everything). So I could do things like show me all the files tag with "Reigh-of-Winter" but exclude anything with the tag "Zombie'  Allow for click and drag selection of multiple resources and allow more then 30 resources to be processed at one time. Allow you to set the Tags when you upload. So I updated a bunch of icons for my campaign, I have then all nice and organized on my desktop. I go to the up load screen I, if I could define the tags the images start with i could group them right of the bat. Now I upload them and then have to apply the tags. I think if you added those features it would help us maintain those libraries. Does that make sense?

The information isn't for me, when making suggestions what helps the Devs most is to clearly explain (with details and examples if necessary) why things are currently a problem and then your potential solutions (suggestions).  Without the details of the problem suggestions are often not framed and the Devs may not understand the reason for the suggestion.  In short, I was helping you frame things. :) - Gauss
I'm also struggling with the Art library. Another real problem, I find, is that you can't search your 'My Purchases', or order it in any way that I can see. I recently had a whole set of Devinnight token packs added from the Kickstarter, but I can't find them. There are already too many tokens in My Purchases for me to page through - my internet connection is reasonably fast, but things seem to take a long time to load. There are all sorts of options that would help, and perhaps some would be easy to implement. Add additional sort options for My Purchases: Purchase date (Descending, Ascending) - the most useful option to add would be sorting by recent purchases first Token file name (and make this visible) - with a page indicator that can let you jump straight to the 'V's, for example. Add filter options for My Purchases: Untagged - since tokens only show up in My Library (and in a search in game) once tagged, being able to filter your purchases for those without tags would be very, very, very useful Search by tag Search by token pack name or creator EDIT: As always, you figure something out just after posting! I've just discovered that you can add tags in the Marketplace itself if you drill through the pack you've bought right down to each individual token. That does at least make it easier to browse the included tokens in a pack and assign the ones you want to your library, but the above suggestions would still be helpful to make the My Purchases page more manageable. It would be nice if the purchased  art came auto tagged with $purchased and the #ArtistName or something like that. After not being able to find several pieces from packs, I had to spend the next few hours custom tagging all the art packs.

Mike, which packs have you purchased? They should already be auto tagged with the Artist's name. Example: Devin should find all of Devin Night's tokens that you have purchased.  - Gauss
They are but they are limited I got all of devens packs (and they show up in search before you get them) but after if you are looking for deven + dungon  you only get a handful of his items (maybe only 30-40%), then a bunch of google search stuff unless you add new tag manually.  search is very nice I like it don't get me wrong, but it would be nicer to have 3 tabs for it  | search | purchased | uploaded | On that note uploading one at a time kinda bites, ftp or at least the ability to choose multiple but be so much nicer.

Mike, Regarding Devin's images with "Devin" and "dungeon" as keywords, could you please indicate specific images that are not showing up (via URL)? I would like to investigate why they are not showing up.  If you drag multiple images from your computer to the Art Library manager's "Upload" tab they will all upload (there may be a number limit but it should be at least 5). Then you can go to the Art Library manager's "Your Library" tab to tag them.  - Gauss
Re tagging them seem to be a good workaround
I bought a few packs from Devin Night as well but when I put his name in the search tools they don't appear! I just get new packages to buy and it goes straight to "From he Web" . Putting his name used to work.... Also there is a lot of junk that I didn't buy showing up in "Your Purchases"

DungeonMaster , please post the marketplace links to the Devin Night packs you have purchased so that we can go through them and try to track down the problem. - Gauss
