Oops - play starts at 8pm chicago/Central time, 9pm eastern time
I'm looking for a few good players to join my currently running campaign (9/26 will be session 6). Where good is defined as speaking clearly, showing up promptly, being interested in adventure AND roleplay, and having 3.5 or pathfinder experience.
We use roll20 for dice, info sheets, and movement.
We use skype for voice chat, as our primary party communication
We use email for between session bookkeeping
We are using as much as possible stock Pathfinder rules as found on d20pfsrd except:
- Gods are de-emphasized, pick or describe any or no gods you follow
- Alignment is de-emphasized, leave it blank and roleplay as you feel
- Any content on d20pfsrd is allowed, abusive core or homebrew may be gentled
- You start level 4 (9000xp) with 2 traits, no flaws, and 3000gp in gear/funds
- Max HP for every level, but playing hardcore (no fudging) so have a backup concept
- You may buy gold with xp, or xp with gold on a 1to1 basis between sessions
- Average adult NPCs are level 3. Famous hero NPCs are level 6. (not max HP)
Story in short so far:
A masked bandit stole an artifact decanter of endless water from an temple oasis at the heart of a frontier town surrounded by dry hills, sandy desert, and rocky plains. The party agreed to track it down, and managed to catch up with the bandit. They negotiated to assist him in using the artifact to fulfill prophecy to save his wife from a magical cavern in exchange for prompt return of the artifact.
The cavern turned out to be a magical maze designed to imprison "The Firelord". It seems to do a decent job, but also traps those who wander in and can't sneak past the Firelord to a frozen whirlpool exit. An enchanter has organized randomly imprisoned humanoids into a camp in a crystal forest they can defend from the Firelord's minions. Long term residents have learned to read the glowing runes on the walls of the magical maze to navigate between the main rooms and random other dangerous rooms.
The two reliable characters are a bow/sword/wolf ranger and a spell/staff/scorpion druid (both just hit level 4).
I'm happy to answer anyone's questions, but I am happiest to get posts with a mythweaver's charsheet from someone keen to play every week.
