Ars Magica LFG, GMT +1

I've been looking to play Ars Magica for a long time now, but I never seem to be able to find a local group. I would be willing to GM, but not alone. I'm looking ro people who are willing to be GMs in rotation. Let's build a party of 3-4 people.
hi do you accept people with no experience in ars magica, i have experience in other games such as nwod. i would like to see the troupe mechanic specifically. even though i st all the time i dont think i could be of much use as a gm for this game until i learn the rules etc. if you are looking for experienced players than i would understand of course.

Yeah, well I don't have too much experience with ArMa either. I've been browsing the books and I have played a few one-shot sessions (which are not very ideal in ArMa), but that is all. I would prefer an experienced GM too, but that is hard to come by, and I don't suppose one will magically descend from heaven to help us :P . So the next best idea is trying to set up a group anyway. If you're OK with GM-ing otherwise, I don't think you should be intimidated. While I have GM-ed in a lot of different games, I don't have any ArMa-specific experience. But hey, it's not like anyone is gonna rip our throats out if we fumble a bit in the first few sessions, eh? :D

Now that I mention it, giving it a try wouldn't hurt though: Conjuring the Skillful GM, CrCo 75 + Mentem :P On a side note: I don't know if you have read anything about Mythic Europe, but the european civilization and consequentially, the hermetic order has several peripheries: fringe areas like scandinavia, the middle-east, or edge of eastern europe, or the northernmost parts of scotland, where the presence of the Order is weak and society (in some cases, at least) is still not highly centralised. That offers some leeway to GMs and player as well, who wish to start a saga which is not very lore-heavy.
