Images upload as broken

Supposed to run a game in 10 min but unable to get my jpg images to upload correctly I had the issue yesterday already but thought it might be the gfx program, but today it is the same thing with another program - images do upload but appear as broken images

Doublecheck that you're loading *.JPG or *.PNG files, not any other format.  If that is the case, before we dive into the guts of the issue, we're going to need you to do a few things for us, things that sometimes fix issues for users before more extensive troubleshooting is needed. Can you please follow Steps 1-3 of our Solving Technical Issues checklist (confirm you're using the latest non-test version of Firefox or Chrome; turn off all extensions, addons, and anti-virus; and clear your cache) to see if one of those components is causing the problem? We can only help if we can recreate your issue, so it is important that you follow each step. If doing that fixes the issue, just let us know. Otherwise, move on to Step 4 , and we'll need all that information to further assist you.
It was all normal jpg files - and yes I tried all the steps. Turns out that from my laptop I can upload them fine but not from my standard computer. I have no idea why my computer suddenly decided not to cooperate anymore, as I didn't change a thing and my anti-virus allows R20 as it should. Only difference I can think of is that the laptop runs Win8 and the computer runs Win7. The images I uploaded as broken still showed as broken from the laptop though, so that part was not just my computer. I'll try and figure it out, if I can't I'll come back.
Can you provide screenshots to show what is happening? Just want to get a better understanding of what is happening.
