Gōsuto the halfling rogue has spent
most of his time in slavery to a traveling merchant half orc. For as far back
as gosuto can remember he lived inside a boarded crate in the back of a
caravan. His master taught him how to
hide, and how to steal in the dead of the night. The merchant never bought any
new items to sell, rather he used gosuto to acquire them from the village
people as they slept. He did not mind his
life in the box, he had food to eat, and was allowed to drink and smoke as much
as he pleased, as long as he delivered the goods each night. On one fateful
evening gosuto’s life changed for ever. While he was out gathering new items to sell,
a villager from a near by town stopped to shop at his masters cart. The man was
surprised to find the merchant selling many of the man’s personal items that
had gone missing around the same time he saw the merchant last. Gosuto had
unknowingly set off a chain reaction that cost his master his life, leaving
gosuto alone and free on the outskirts of New Eden. Now Gosuto is looking for a new start, and way
to use his skills of hiding & stealing in exchange, for learning to defend
himself as to not meet the same end as his master.
