Hello all! So here's the skinny; I am looking for some peeps to get into a game with. I am interested in running more or less whatever kind of Pathfinder game you want. One-shot, long campaign, home-brew, module, whatever really. I'm in sales, so let's see if I can sell myself to you guys... 26 year old husband and father in B2B sales from Dallas, Texas. Why me? Attitude , which is to say I have a good one. I like to keep things upbeat. I constantly ask myself what type of attitude I am portraying, and as such really really try to help the group maintain a 'good vibe'. Willing to compromise , I have no problem at all playing whatever the GM/Group needs/wants. Half-Orc Cleric? Gnome Barbarian? Halfing Wizard? Or more traditional class/race compositions, I am willing to help out with whatever. Understand GM's position , I understand that GMs HAVE to tell their players no sometimes. It's OK, they are just doing what they think is best to give the players a good experience. I promise not to give push-back once the GM has made a ruling. Commitment , I have heard quite a few people complain that because the people you meet on Roll20 are not real-life friends, they feel less obligation to come through on their commitments. I assure you I am not a flake. Now that's not to say that real life stuff doesn't come up (I am a father of a 5 month old), but I an adult, and know how to deal with those issues in a way that is respectful of others' time. Friendly , I have never met a Stranger I didn't like. From Texas , I think its a plus. Another plus is I have no Southern Accent. So you get the best of both worlds. HUMOR!!! , I like to laugh, and have thick skin. Both are great traits to bring to a group setting. Equipment , I have a VERY high end Mic, and a Logitech C920 Webcam, so I would prefer to use them. That is to say I would really prefer to not be in a group that types a lot. Nothing personal, and I certainly don't feel superior because of my gear, I just want to be able to make things easier than trying to type everything out. Experience - Maybe 50 hours of true gameplay with 3.5, and about 100 hours in Pathfinder. I'm not so new I'm going to be lost the whole time, but I could definitely use an experienced player or two to lean on for random questions time to time. So there you have it! Hopefully someone out there has some room for me. I would love to make some new friends and meet some new people! Regards, Cody Edit: I'm looking to play not GM a game. Also I would really love to find a game Thursday nights.
