Update and Open Plot Threads from Season 4 -- the pirates were found through scry far east near Festering hole and Ashtakala, hiding in a massive athasian tree forest with a feral halfling ewok village hosting them... why? -- the varias coven was seen playing house with the halfling matriarchs... what are they up to?-- the team has trashed the pirates... The Kraken and the Black Widow merc ship have both sank into the ether depths... are the pirates now out of the scene, with their core command ship out of commission? -- Grimm the enchanter is dead.. will his pixie bitch friend swear vengeance? -- Chuck joins the Droaam military as a ship's journeyman, under the command of the fleet shamans... how will this work to the team's advantage? -- the team rescues Admiral Heron from the pirates, granting the team Lavor Hai II... how fast will they destroy it? -- Rodrigo... healed by a regeneration is fully mended and runs free into the void. -- refugees of blood crescent AND kashakant are hostage at Friendfell, but the demons in control have been heavily damaged... can they be saved at this point? -- Droaam reclaims Blood Crescent in the power vacuum created by the Bishop of Woe seizing the remaining population of Kashakant and Burning Keep.. but with so many refugees dead or compromised, how will the economy and "normal life" recover? -- Undertow has claimed ownership of the underground river feeding Blood Crescent. That can't be good for Crescent Blade at all. -- Is General Crog going to be trouble in the future as well? -- Bishop of the Devourer and The Horrible Storm... that thing engulfs everything from friendfell to the shadowcrags. -- Shadow Ribbons in the Spirit World have coalesced around the FriendFell tower like some black toilet paper prank. -- the spell circle is only a few hundred feet from completion from the demons using a sacrifice ritual to empower cultivated titan-moss filling the gap -- The Bishop's spellstorm is now channeling energy from the storm into the nearly-completed magic circle. -- When/How/Where will The Devourer Rise from Below? -- Faeris knows the Gatekeepers are working on their own titan plan to the east near ashtakalah. but are they any where near completion? -- MegaStructure Road Trip to verify other titans' existence? This is the final season of the campaign! I don't assume all these things are going to be resolved, or even be important to the team. The campaign is geared towards stopping the Devourer from rising out of the ether to destroy the world, but there's no guarantee the team will prioritize that or if they do... resolve it favorably.
