DM Hotseat (4e Campaign for DMs & DM Wannabes)

*crossing fingers* To bad there is so little interest =(
hey, just applied using the survey thing. i hope what i put makes sense, i tried to answer honestly. I have DMed maybe one or two sessions before for IRL friends but i am not overly confident, but participated as a player in many more (both offline, but more often online, using mostly maptools). That being said, I would like to learn more about DMing, eventually even to the point where i could run my own campaigns. As a player i dont really mind what roll i play as, i generally enjoy most of them. i usually play quite min-maxed characters (although i tend to avoid 'tax-feats'), but also enjoy rollplaying. I am a believer that how well built your character is statwise should not be an indication of how well you can rollplay that character. i currently am playing in only one other game, as a swordmage|wizard hybrid (i like hybrid characters) in Jochen K.'s game.
Yea, and he showed up both times *thumbs up* Regarding on the char you want to play, there is no need for hybrid chars, but they can be fun to :D I played a Bard-Warlock. But losing some class specials can hurt. I think its balanced well on most of the hybrid combinations so you can focus on your need in the role play rather than power gaming. To bad you have to switch the utility, encounter and daily power back and forth =(

@Brendan: Thanks for applying Brendan! Hybrids can indeed be fun. Typically your trading less depth (power) for more breadth (flexibility), but if you're like me that'll be something you enjoy. If you're interested in hybrids, I recommend you check out this post. @All: We've had two more signups today, so I think we're ready to get down to business. If you're still in, please join this group and we'll start planning .

@King, @Marton, & @Connor, I saw your applications, but haven't seen any posts here. Are y'all interested in playing?
Oh, sorry, I applied very late yesterday, and I forgot to post here. Yes, I'm interested in playing, but it seems from the schedule thing you had posted that my times would work with just about nobody, so I understand if that's a deal breaker.
Hi. I have updated my availability dates. I could't chose all times on a day. I hope the program didn't change the time you set on my time-zone. If we are playing on Saturday, there is a possibility, that I have something else to attend before 12:00/12:30pm GMT-4. But I should be available after 13:00 every week.
I'd be, but I see that my schedule doesn't seem to fit anyone else's.
Sure I'm still down.
Hey, I filled out the application, just found this, and looking at the availabilty, i would be available at the time that everyone else is if you sill have a spot.

@King: Cool, just join the group linked above and we'll be about ready to start planning. @Ygmir: Welcome aboard! As soon as we have at least 5 people with compatible schedules we'll get started (right now it looks like most people are available on Saturdays).
I enjoy roleplaying quite a bit however my experience with it is entirely from playing Neverwinter Nights, but I am interested in learning to play tabletop. I have no real prior experience with it. P.S It just occured to me I haven't changed my screename to Towowo like I put in the application. I have just amended that.
