Wondering what to run next - any players itching to participate?

Currently debating between: Warhammer Fantasy 2nd ed Thieves World Runequest Shadowrun Dark Heresy Any thoughts?
Shadowrun and Dark Heresy have my votes, depending on the day you wanted to play I would definitely be down for either.
I would be interested in playing anyone of them, if your ok with accepting a first timer (of those in the list i only know the lore of Warhammer/dark heresy) Days i am available are Sunday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday
Really interested in dark heresy. What times work for you?
Me and a friend who are new to pen and paper games have been wanting to do a dark heresy game. We are both very knowledgable about 40K lore. This would be our first time play any type of pen and paper game.
As long as you guys use skype, I'm down for learning a game I guess!
Dark Heresy would get my vote, but the problem I've seen lies with the fact that no one bothers showing up after the 1st/2nd session.
If this runs on Saturdays or Sundays then I'm down for anything. I only have some experience with D&D, so almost everything is new to me.
Can i participate?
can i join (if its on friday/saturday) also Thieves world sounds cool
I would love to get in on a Shadowrun game.  I am available 9pm+ CDT (excluding Wednesday) though Su,M,Tu,Th tend to work a bit better since I am more likely to be at home.
My friend an I are pretty much able to play whenever. The only problem for me is I won't be able to commit to any schedule for 7 or so days. In a week I will be able to play pretty much whenever.
OK, I'm going to try and run a dark heresy campaign. I prefer a cinematic style and generally expect players to be responsible for knowing the rules etc related to their own character, class, weapons and abilities, ALTHOUGH if you are new to a system I'm happy to help get you up to speed ahead of the game and provide you handouts / cheat sheets etc.  I'm a recovering 40k player with an addiction to Black Library products so quite well versed in the universe.  I need some time to digest the rules set and shape the campaign - will aim to start at the end of September. IF you are still interested post below.
Definitely interested. Would be good to know what timeframe you're aiming for though (weekly, time of day, etc.) Guess I'll use that time to catch up on the lore. Any recommended reading?
I think probably one long session once a month starting with some one shot adventures and transitioning into a campaign. I favour this approach simply to allow the group to stabilise and everyone to get into the swing of things. If people are really keen once we've played a couple of times we could increase the frequency. I am going to be GMT-+8 so timing really depends on where the rest of the. This is only really likely to work if rest of group is either all Europe or all US. In terms of reading the Ravenor and Eisenhorn books by Dan Abnett are perfect background.
I can talk to my friends and see if they are good with that. I got a couple other friends who might be interested as well, but I think they may be as new as I am. I and one of my friends is US central time I think that is GMT -6. I think my other two friends are US eastern time. I'll figure out if everything works, and I'll come back here with any new info, and whether or not we are gonna be able to do it. BTW I have all the RUlebooks. or well most of them. I've read through most of the core rulebook, but since this is my first time playing I may need a little hand holding. All of my friends are well versed in 40k Lore having read a lot of novels, or having played tabletop 40k. Well two of us have read a lot of novels the other two have played tabletop. Anyhow if you are willing to walk some new players through, and we are all able to do it. I think I could have 3 or 4 people ready to play. I think one of us may know how to play though.
