Hey there guys! So, a little bit of backstory on me; I started playing D&D in 3.5e a few years ago, but unfortunately the campaign lasted only a few months as two party members moved away. Fast forward to a few months ago, I found Critical Role and, like most old players, was inspired to start playing again, and am currently DMing a campaign here on Roll20 for some of my close friends that's been running for a couple months. I am enjoying DMing and the worldbuilding that I'm currently doing, but a part of me feels rather unfulfilled and as such I'd like to either join a new or existing group. I have a few character ideas in my head, but I want to get a good grasp of the world I'll be playing in so I can make a character that fits well within the mythos of that world. I'm based in the UK, and can play on Saturdays and Sundays between the times of 7:30PM GMT (8:30PM CET, 2:30 EST) and 1:00AM GMT (2:00AM CET, 8PM EST). I'd much appreciate it if you could give a short synopsis to your game world in your reply (not needed ofc, but it would help me get the ball rolling in my head).
