Alright, what follows is a small list of suggestions and feedback I'd like to share with the team / community. Some of these might have already been suggested, sorry for that! But let me know what you think! 1. [Community contests] We're working here with a lot of DM's,
meaning this community is oozing creativity. Is it an idea for a
community manager to set up contests / events for the community to take
part in? Contests like:
"Most creative mini game"
"Most interesting boss fight"
"Most creative new gameplay mechanic"
"Most interesting story / lore"
"Prettiest looking map"
2. [Integrated Youtube] I make a lot of use of Youtube videos in
my campaign. From cutscenes to lore descriptions to tutorials and
background information. I'd like to see a (handout for example) with a
"Show Video" button. This will then open a small window that streams
the video in question for all the players. Rewards for these contests could be things like forum badges. 3. [Earn more space] Right now a free account has (I believe) 100mb of free upload space. Would it be an idea to follow in the route of Dropbox, where you can do several things to earn more space? Things like: "Like us on Facebook to earn another 5mb" or "Introduce a friend to Roll20 to earn another 20mb" Add a few simple and a few more in depth tasks for your users to do and give them the feeling they earn extra stuff by doing them! 4. [Subscriber Currency] Maybe add a system which rewards long time subscribers with a currency that can be used to buy stuff from the marketplace. Roll20Coins or something. Say you earn 100 of these for each month you're subscribed and then allow your subscribers to buy sets from the marketplace with them. 5. [Alternative Prices on Marketplace] I noticed that most (if not all?) things on the marketplace cost $5,- which is a very reasonable price! However, would it be an idea to also allow lower / higher prices? You could add a price range to your marketplace:
Free
$0,50 - $2,50
$2,50 - $4,99
$4,99 - $9,99
$9,99+
