Wolf Trouble

Armand moves over to try to get a better shot at wolf 5ft move and ranged touch attack (ranged hit 13 damage 3)
Garenth moves up towards the wolf mother getting ready to strike. (OOC I use my standard action to move 30ft next to the wolf mother since this is the first round.)
// Garenth seems to have missed the first round .. so that slot is actually round 2 and you should have a full turn.  feel free to fix that. GM Post Day 6 Slot 3 The wolf attacks again, this time biting at Raptor who easily dodges the attack.  The wolf continues to protect the entrance of the cave, growling menacingly Next Post Day 7 Slot 1
continuing to move to the east to try to get a clear shot Armand misses with his spell completely 5ft move and a 1 to hit with acid dart
Garenth can't seem to focus at all and swings his sword wildly, hitting nothing but air. (OOC  Nat 1 to hit)
// you guys really don't want to kill this wolf.  I feel bad for you GM Post Day 7 Slot 1 The wolf continues to bite about, this time biting Garenth's armor to no prevail.  Grrrrrrr   Next Post Day 7 Slot 2
Garenth still unfocused swings over the head of the wolf. (OOC attack roll of 6. Ya I'm rolling like crap today.)
Stepping forward and to the right of Garenth, Armand gives up on spells and swings his warhammer determinedly at the wolf connecting solidly in its side.  OCC 22 to hit 6 to damage
" You tried to bite Bitey! " Madella roared, as if that was just unacceptable. She went full mother wolf mode on the mother wolf. Bitey then went full out with this claws and teeth! // Madella hits AC 15 (Roll 11 +4) for 9 dmg // Bitey full round:  Hits AC 20 for 4dmg;  AC 4 miss;  AC 22 for 4 +3 crit dmg! Madella blinks as Bitey unhinges his jaw and more or less swallows the wolf whole. " Ummm.. ." Madella says, " That... that... "
"BITEY!!!!   you are amazing" Armand shouts in joy.
Garenth annoyed with himself for not being able to tame his thoughts and land a blow on this wolf but either way the battle was done and he was glad. "Now we must attend to those pups, it's the least we can do to see that they grow up considering what we just had to do." Garenth sheathes his sword and straps his shield to his back. He makes his way towards the cave stopping before the mouth and drops to one knee taking his backpack off and lining it with his blanket. He peers into the cave for the pups.

GM Post Day 7 Slot 3  With the mother wolf killed, the baby wolves are left to fend for themselves .. but not for long .. Garenth moves into the cave with his backpack and scans around for pups.  He finds 3 pups and places each one carefully into the backpack.  They are so little but they can already eat food and drink water based on their age.  (Knowledge Nature would tell you this and if you can't someone in town will certainly tell you upon your return)  One of the pups playfully bites at Garenth but can do no actual damage.  He latches on to his arm growling but soon calms as he is removed and placed in the warm pack.  Bittersweet, the party will  return to the camp with 3 new puppies.  Not wanting the mother wolf to go to waste, her fur will provide a nice trophy.  It can be taken as well.   This concludes this mission (finally) 1 MP and 1 KP rewarded.  (make sure to record this on your MP/KP Tracker) You can choose from the following rewards:  (Each participant chooses 1 and duplication is fine) A - Raise a wolf cub (using the right skills) B -  Gain a wolf pelt (medium size) C - Gain a cure light wounds potion and a winter blanket The lumberjacks give each player 5 labor as a reward for their aid
I will take a wolf cub please
I will also choose to raise a wolf cub (lol to the best of my abilities) also do we still need to divide what was in the lumberjack's bag when we found him?
the lumberjack bag is what gives you option C
ah ok was just curious because of the deck of cards and croc statue he had in the bag that was all.
well, do you want to ask him for it   i assumed you guys gave his bag back but i guess i should have asked
Oh i guess we could I don't know what the others want to do, last I read was he handed us the bag for the healing and walked off so we never really discussed it but it's not really a big deal I just asked for clarification reasons so we knew what we should be putting in our inventory.
// Totally raising a wolf cub.
