so i think 2 days ago i decided to start creating the ruleset for a recreation of the famous pc game XCOM: Enemy Unknown out of boredom, and ever since ive been working hard refining and making the rule as faithful as it can be to its pc counterpart and now ive decided to test the ruleset.
What is XCOM?
XCOM is a game about aliens invading the earth and a secret military organization known as the Vigilo Confido or better known as XCOM tries its best to defend the earth against the invader using whatever means, even if it means using the alien's technology to get a better odds in success. You as the player take on the role of a Commander, as with 3 other Commanders, you order your soldiers in this dangerous and possibly unwinnable war.
UPDATE:
Because the time difference between here in philippines and across the world is very odd(im 13 hours ahead of tauntdragoon), ive decided to implement a slightly strick but forgiving "attendance". If any of the Player fail to show up Every Saturday 6 PM(Sunday 8 AM here) or so, Bench Commanders can take up the slot so it isnt wasted. The Starting time will always be Saturday 9 PM(Sunday 11 AM here). A Full House of 4 Player is recommended for this game for maximum interaction. Once the players have unlocked Squad Size I, an extra Bench Commander Can join the starting commander roster. and a 2nd bench commander can also join once the Squad Size II has been unlocked. There is power in group so dont be shy to wait. i am not kicking people in bench commander slot so keep being excited. Also once i learn how to implement a Spectator players here in roll20 i will open up slots.
Update: Commanders in Bench slot who has their name have middle line means you are in the game but has no soldiers yet and cannot join.

Every Commander is given 500 Credits to be used for equipment, buying new soldiers and whatnot. Each Commander can make up to 4 character(any character sheet works, it needs only place to record your character).
The initial start date of this BETA campaign is still unknown but commander screening is always open. Commanders who left the game due to disinterest will have his/her space freed up and a new commander may take place with brand new characters.
to create a character, you need to read up on my Proof of Concept post because everything started there. But soon i will make a separate pastebin as a Players Handbook and AI Director Handbook. But in the meantime, consult this thread

Everything you need(at least what rules ive already completed) is there, from player manual to AI Directors manuals and guidelines.
Sessions will be carried out in a Skype-call manner and of course here at roll20. the Skype-call is just there for verbal interaction. Those who cant do such can still play and just use the chat function, but chat function isnt as reliable as voice-call so at least theres option :D.
