Signs Of Trouble (AT)

The remaining kobolds leap up and climb the sides of the pits climbing on each other and grabbing the rope and walls and everything they can grab.   This splits the army into two positions.   The mass of kobolds above the pit and the mass still inside.    All players - INDIVIDUAL - acrobatics (15) to jump into the pit using kobolds to cushion your landing and squash them;  failure = 1 wound.   Melee attack [14] to eliminate more kobolds from the army; Failure = swarmed by kobolds (1 wound).  If you are already in the pit you may choose to climb out [20] or Mel's attack the ones down there; failure = seamed (1 wound).  
Draping his bow over his shoulder as he runs, Issachar draws his sword.  His overhead slice cleaves one of the little vermin in two! (Attack 17)
Surprised by the kobolds springing out from the hole, Kyros tries to attack at one of them, missing badly, and then gets swarmed over by the others, the attacks rendering him unconcious. ((Melee attack 3, only 1 HD, so off to sleepy land. Keep on fighting!))

Seeing Ren gravely wounded, Prytania falls back in front of him while getting her unholy symbol out. She grabs it along with Pharasma's so that it isn't that obvious, hoping that everyone is distracted enough with the kobolds to notice (Basically as if the chain had two symbols attached), and channels negative energy, to keep the kobolds back from Ren [Obviously, excluding him from the AOE] (and hoping that he can get rid of the ones that come for her) " Got your back, Ren " OOC: Channel negative energy - Success for Ren!
Kellen attacks the kobolds donw in the pit  (OOC: success - 21)
Fizziwik pulls his longsword from his scabbard and leaps into the fray, summoning upon his races ancient hatred of kobolds he just barely manages to push them back and keep from being overwhelmed. ((OOC: Melee 14))
Andy, angry that anyone would dare to hurt his newfound friends, summoned the magic granted him by his ancient bloodline. His hands change to resemble claws and his body crackles with magic. A bolt of energy rushes from his outstretched hand and plowes into the nearest kobold! (occ cast magic missile)
With combined effort you have been able to clear out the remaining kobolds.  You loot their corpses and carry their treasure off with you.   You find 2 small MW bloodstained serrated daggers, 2 vials of poison (probably sleeping poison, Craft alchemy 13 identifies them as such) and 4 small MW bucklers.  Everything else is of little value to the party.  You also find that hidden in the mud at the bottom of the pit is a shiny silver ring.  You also find a small strip of paper with a draconic word scribed on it and also a word in a strange unidentifiable language.  Does anyone speak draconic? // Remember, you DO NOT GET TREASURE for your character until the end of the AT but you can use any treasure you find DURING the AT

Andy holds up the viles and says " Deffinantly a sleeping poison. Me ol pa used to make something similar out of brandy and ice. He would have a few glasses and go to sleep for hours and hours. Odd side effects tho, he slurred his words whenever he drank it, and had trouble standing, and urinated in strange places. Never the less this is an odd Inscription. It says....." (ooc alchemy 16, and I speak draconic"

Well then, one trap sprung and foiled.   Turning to Prytania, So, whats the call now?  Do we keep looking for the larger force? Or head back to town and try to set a few traps of our own? 
The paper said oathbreaker... (" Is this from the invisible creatures? ") " Where did you find this? It seems like the kobolds have had visits from our invisible neighbours too... " Fizzwik turned to her asking on what to do... Nice question " Well, we have some injured from the skirmish and we can't leave the outpost undefended, there is a large Kobold force around, and they will be angry when they see this... Leave the note here just in case, it could make them think it's not our deed " - Prytania took a while to think - " I guess we will have to search for them and keep our citizens inside and outside of the outpost safe until we find them "
" Any who are truly afraid may stay at the bank, I don't think the Kobolds can get past the walls with my guards there. And we have space in the storage room to set up some beds." Kellen looks concerned as we walk back to town.

Eilife see's a half-elf on the ground, unmoving. She bends at the waist and checks to see if he is dead before moving on and pressing her hand to his forehead. Her eye's flicker, though she never blinks, and Trceni's wounds seem to heal slightly. // Cast CLW for 4 healing
Getting up, still slightly groggy, Kyros looks at the group. "We won, right? Good. Now what?"
"heal our wounded, check back with the settlement, find the kobolds, remove any remaining traps"...."after this is done, we might want to put up warning signs, who knows what traps they left behind?
