Unable to log on/ massive lag in game

I just tried to run my Sunday night game and one of my players kept getting frozen at the "loading" screen. We waited an hour trying various fixes and nothing helped. When we finally called the session off an a couple players left she was finally able to get in. Once she was in the game i started to get massive lag, i was typing but nothing was showing up in the dialogue box but if i pressed enter it would show up in chat a few minutes later and i was unable to move tokens or anything around on the board. Just wondering if there was server issues tonight or if its something that needs fixing on our end.

We're going to need you and your player to do a few things for us, things that sometimes fix issues for users before more extensive troubleshooting is needed. Can you both please follow Steps 1-3 of our Solving Technical Issues checklist (confirm you're using the latest non-test version of Firefox or Chrome and try swapping browsers; turn off all extensions, addons, and anti-virus; and clear your cache) to see if one of those components is causing the problem? We can only help if we can recreate your issue, so it is important that you follow each step. If doing that fixes the issue, just let us know. Otherwise, move on to Step 4 , and we'll need all that information to further assist you both.

One of my players can't even load up these forums. So putting all this information here is impossible.
