Hot Seat

Hey guys, the next campaign is going to take some prep time for me to even get it started. We still have a month or so left in this campaign, but I thought I'd throw an idea out there. Is anybody interested in running an adventure? It can be a short series or just a one shot. I can make you a GM so you'd have access to all the monsters I have built, all my maps, and my juke box for sound & music. If you Google Dungeon magazine you'll find about 40 years worth of short side quests, locations and NPCs. Twitch is optional. I also think it would be helpful for me to see things from a player perspective as I plan the next campaign.

I guess I'll give it a go for a few sessions. I am yet to DM 5e though so you'll have to bear with me guys!!

I too will throw my hat in the ring. The more I think about it, it is kind fun to run a game sometimes. Only a couple of questions for you Ben and James is will these sessions be just one off games? Will they use new characters or our current ones? If they are to be single session games that could open it up for more than one DM should one not be ready or prepared on a specific day.

I'll be looking forward playing a game one of you guys will run, and ofcourse playing a game alongside Ben instead of "against" him :)

Thanks guys. These are one-off games so we can keep playing D&D while I work on getting the next campaign set up. So it makes sense to have multiple DMs. I imagine it's going to be a bit tricky to accommodate James' schedule though. Trouble and I will actually be available at like 6am later in the week going forward so that might be an option (she got a new schedule). I copied this campaign and made a new one called The Space Between . You should all have access to it. I'll go ahead and promote James and Joe to GM status so you guys can get started messing around there. I already deleted the Fire Node so you won't be tempted to peek! :) But everything else is intact and ready for use. I also enabled the new SRD and OGL character sheet stuff if you're interested in using it. It's entirely up to whoever is the DM to decide what the specifics are for the adventure. Joe and James once you've settled on an adventure go ahead and post in the forums of The Space Between what we need to know to get started, and assign us some character sheets (under a new heading preferably). Also maybe a tentative time frame.
