The plan is to run the game Thursdays at about 7PM, MST, and entirely over Skype and Roll20. I can help with character building, and you don't need to be familiar with the rules or the Dresdenverse at all (though it helps, of course). I tend to write my story to fit the players and characters needs and stories, so there is room to incorporate what you want within reason, and my city will expand to fit your idea. On the other hand, do not apply and then send me a large amount of additional reading material or custom military organizations that I need to memorize. If your character would be unable to fit into a city made by someone else, he won't work here. I'm about fun for the players as a group, not realism, so vague concepts are fine. Yes, it's ok if you are specific about something like the type of gun you carry, and the size of it's bullets, and how you clean it, and lots of other details your character might know and obsess about. cool. It's also ok if you just know that he has a pistol. Sorry I have to state this, but there is a regular player of mine that loves to write up full detailed military organizations, including a command structure, multiple contacts and members, and then describe the tech used in their base. That's ok, but not in this game. If your concept or story includes NPCs, we need to discuss their relevancy, the number of them, how they fit into the game world, and more, which is fine within reason. I have three players already, but no character concepts, as the game is at least two or three weeks out from starting. Power level is Submerged, and the city is a fictional one. The players are generally NOT evil (call it Good, if you want), and this is also not an origin story. You have your power, and are known to have it at least by some supernatural beings. I'll work with you if you want to suddenly come into your power or be new to it, but it's unlikely at this level, so your story will have to be convincing. If you would like in, or even if you want more information about what kinds of characters you can play, let me know. Please also use the word "cheerio" in your reply if you want to participate, so I know you're reading this post, and possibly serious about committing to a game that I'm hoping will run for a long time. First two requests to participate, who meet this requirement, are going to be considered. Oh, and if you ARE familiar with Dresden, please let me know if you're more familiar with the TV series or the books. I'd also like to know if you know about Jim Butcher's other series, Codex Alera (which may or may not play a small part in this. I'm undecided). ok, enough rambling, thanks for reading.
